I'd had a long day of hard walking in the rain and the wind doing the Switchbacks on Offa's Dyke. Then on top, it's a 3+m walk off the track to get here, down tarmac roads which is tough on tired feet, especially in torrential rain. Having finally arrived at the farmhouse, very tired, cold and wet, the owner wasn't...

A really nice B&B in a wonderful old building. The host is a very interesting character who is very knowledgeable about the local area. The breakfast is good, all locally sourced food, and he has a horse and some hens which he showed to us.

such a friendly, homely place to stay. Anthony was a great host. The bedroom was very cosy. Loved the sloping floors and ceilings. The bed was so comfortable and struggled to get up the next morning. Would love to return. Wifi and a decent phone signal were a slight problem - but then again, it added to the relaxed atmosphere....

Stayed here for two nights and really liked it. We arrived late one night and Jo and the lovely Enya met us outside the pub and guided us in, they are such nice people. Very comfy bed. The farmhouse is full of character and the breakfasts are yummy. The lounge has a wealth of guides for any walkers and the...

What an amazing location and beautiful quintessential English farmhouse to stay at. The farmhouse is steeped in history and thankfully left to age gracefully, character intact! Awesome breakfast and hospitality coupled with a pint of Clun Pale Ale, great food and good company! Lovely area to explore. What's even better is you can bring horses! Wish I still lived in...

Spent one night here on a cycle tour, laid back friendly welcome, clean and comfortable and welcoming smells of baked bread. The brekkie was real home cooked and flavoursome food. Single Bedroom was comfortable although small but views out the back of the countryside. Easy walking to the main Clun which is a real gem!

Anthony and Jo couldn't do enough to make our stay really special. Love the gorgeous brass bed and the hidden en suite. Fabulous wooden floorboards and breakfasts that you can barely walk after eating await you at this treat of a bed and breakfast Gorgeous people and wonderful place Thank you

We only stayed here for one night but found it to be a charming place with great views over the countryside. The room we had was very spacious although a bit creaky in places due purely to the age of the property. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. This is an ideal base to use for exploring the surrounding...

First time staying at this little gem, but not the first time I've visited this picturesque little village. even though the weather was not brilliant for August. Room was very spacious but beware the low door frame leading into the en-suite. Breakfast was delicious and Jo who was looking after us was very pleasant. Definitely worth a visit.
