Being my first time in South Africa, the manager and staff were very helpful in transporting me from/to the airport and also helping me get around town for site seeing. The view of the ocean from the rooms is absolutely amazing. The room itself is beautiful. I can only explain the incredible beauty of this place through pictures. Check them...

Stayed from Jan 1st to 2nd. Only 1 night as it was fully booked and we only booked in early December. Some reviews I've read (including their own website) mentioned that the rooms on the lower floor do not have nice views, this is no longer the case as the huge hedge that was blocking the view previously has been...

This was our third time in South Africa and the end of our trip and what a way to spend our last three day's. A beautiful boutique hotel with just six rooms right on the beach at Kommetjie. The view from the breakfast room upstairs is stunning, the ocean, Table mountain and Chapman's Peak in the distance and just people...

The Last Word is a charming boutique hotel with only a handful of rooms, very attentive, wonderful staff and a beautiful location. Spacious rooms, great breakfast service and spectacular view across the ocean. Just a word of advice: when arriving after dark, as we did, it is not obvious where the hotel is located, as Kirsten Avenue turns into a...

Excellent location on the beach with a perfect view on the Table Mountains behind the bay. No noise but the breaking waves. Have dinner on their balcony or your terrace, and simply enjoy. Surf spot right in front of the house. Famie and the entire team went the extra mile for whatever was requested. Thanks. Great stay. Was there after...

My wife and I spent a long weekend at this wonderful , friendly boutique hotel with the most beautiful sea views. The first impressions of friendly helpful staff were backed up throughout the weekend with their unflagging attention to their guests. The complimentary drinks were a bonus, and the wonderful sea views from the bedroom and dining-room were a bonus....

Only 6 magnificent suites, all with sea views, amazing location and the friendliest staff. We were well looked after. It was the atteention to detail that made it stand out from the rest. Suun hats, beach towels, sunsccreen and a beach bag left on the bed, sea shells on the pillows. To fall to sleep at night with the french doors...

Couldn't have asked for more, but the complimentary drinks were a nice little extra. We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our honeymoon trip and it really didn't disappoint. We stayed upstairs and had a wonderful view of the beach and mountains. I don't think I have ever had a shower with such a wonderful view. The room was lovely and the free drinks were an added bonus. We spent our evenings...
