5 Beautifull unique cottages in a natural environment, most welcoming en friendly owners Renaud and Olivier. We stayed for 2 weeks in the Carbet, a typical bungalow style house of Guadeloupe. Good equipped kitchen and livingroom are outside and the patio is set at a beautifull pond. The decoration of the Carbet is very beautifull and tastfull. The bungalow was...

We stayed in La Cabane for a week. The tree house style accommodation is very clean and comfortable, and sleeping with the walls open is a very unique experience. The entire property is absolutely beautiful and Olivier was extremely helpful. His advice for where to eat and places to see made our vacation truly unforgettable. We look forward to returning.

We stayed for 10 days at West Indies. It was an amazing experience. The first days we stayed in the Pirate tree house. This house was so well decorated with "pirate" possessions like a treasure box, treasure maps, pirate flags etc that it looked very real. Our son (4 years old) actually really believed there were pirates living there! It...

One week in the Carbet, with the wonderful pond to look at - it really was hard to move on. Renaud and Olivier are gorgeous hosts and make the place very special and welcoming. There is much love in the details of the different places and the setting is great in a big park in the middle of the forest....

We stayed for one week in the gypsies house (la Roulotte) and enjoyed the most quiet but well located and good for starting off several excursions in Basse Terre atmosphere. The surroundings are splendid, a lot of beautiful nice and friendly animals, colourful plants, and everything most well kept. The cabin is very cosy and equipped with every necessary, together...

When choosing a place to stay, we prefer small boutique hotels, small group of cottages or bungalows, or some place that has both character and charm, we found it at West Indies Cottages!! This is a magnificent paradise nestled in a tropical paradise, with mountains, lush jungles, magnificent beaches, and incredible snorkeling. We chose the Bungalow, which sits adjacent a...

When we travel, we really try and seek out the places that few think to book. I stumbled upon the island of Guadaloupe at the suggestion of my son who mentioned that the island looked "interesting." Guadaloupe was certainly interesting, and so much more. I have been blessed to travel to some really amazing places, and the island did not...

We are currently staying in the Moulin and it is truly amazing. Mangoes; sugar cane; coconuts in the garden and the noise of the water in the background. Based in Pointe noire; it is the perfect spot between Deshais' wonderful sandy beaches and the national park and the souffrierre. The hosts are so welcoming; friendly and helpful. When you look...

It is exactly like the pictures show - beautiful and made with a lot of love. It is placed in a valley in the middle of the tropical forrest, which offers an unforgetable view and feeling. But be well prepared against Moskitos!!
