When you arrive and stand on your villas deck and there are otters playing in the river below you know that this must be good. With the help of the resort guides and drivers we were shown Orangutan, Macaques, Gibbons, Pygmy Elephants, Hornbills, Snakes.etc etc. The food was good

We stayed here for three nights while travelling around Malaysian Borneo. It is a long and bumpy drive along a gravel and mud track into Tabin Nature reserve and is somewhat disconcerting as on one side of the track are monotonous rows of oil palms kept in check by wire fences

This place was the fourth move on our Sabah adventure and although it wasn't the most impressive and luxurious it was by far the most wonderful! We had a truly perfect time. Right from the start when we were shown to our hill accommodation (up 60 steps, not that I was

can we come to this reservation for a day trip?thanx :)
That depends on where you start from in the morning. It is 1h+ drive from Lahad Datu. I'm sure they offer game drives/walks as a day activity. I would just give them a call and ask!

We were there in June, Which is considered in drier season. However, it still rained quite a bit, especially in the afternoon and at night. But the rain is usually hard and short. I heard that the resort did cancel tours before when it rained hard. Luckily, all the day tours we did were in good weather. We hit a downpour during one of the night tour and had to came back earlier. It is the rainforest, so it is difficult to expect when it will rain. However if you can go during the drier season, you will expect fewer rainfalls.
