The building used to be a resting place for pilgrims travelling so dates back hundreds of years. It has been beautifully decorated - Laura Ashley bedding, Portmeiron crockery etc - but all very much in keeping with the building. I was made very welcome and shown to a really large comfortable room. The views across the surrounding countryside are great....

We arrived at the b&b at 3pm and knocked on the door, the lady who greeted us looked quite surprised as if we were not expected. Not the type of welcome I was expecting, she took us across the courtyard to the upstairs barn and showed us our room. We were told that heating did not come on until 4.30pm...

We stayed overnight during a visit to Bath, in order to be close to Blue Leaf Ceramics (reviewed separately), where we had a reservation for a pottery session the next day. We were three couples: my husband and I, my daughter and her partner and my son and his partner. There is no common room or a place where one...

Stayed for the weekend, the room was lovely and had enough space for three women to spread out! The building is set in beautiful countryside and all the staff are full of knowledge and helpful with any requests. Breakfast was top quality and plenty or variety, set you up for the day. This is in the middle of the countryside...

We had to find an alternative B&B in the area as the one we usually use was not available. This was recommended and we were very pleased with it. It is just as advertised - on a working farm complete with friendly dogs. The room we had was in a converted barn and was very comfortable. It was also quiet,...

We stayed as part of a large party last Friday evening. Toghill House Farm is clearly geared up for the B+B trade and is very nice and set in very elegant surroundings in beautiful countryside. Our friends room was in the loft of the stables block. There are very low hung roof timbers. Perfect if you are a midget but...

We booked a room for four for one night at the farmhouse for a weekend in Bath and stayed in the stable room. The farm was lovely, very peaceful and good location. The drive into Bath was straightforward and about 10 minutes. We did get lost on our way to the farmhouse and called up, they were helpful in directing...
