We had a lovely stay at this hotel and will stay here again if in this area. We had the continental breakfast which was good and there was a selection to chose from. The cooked breakfast looked fresh and again there was a selection to suit all tastes. I would recommend staying here and it is excellent value.

Food not the best, just really wasted it's a castle and u just expect them to play on that a bit more, no history available what I could see about the castle, was just a shame to see such a great asset not used to its full potential.

My husband and i have stayed in this beautiful castle 5 times now. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The room is very nice with a large corner bath and shower. The breakfast is always lovely. We enjoy sitting in the bar looking out into the impressive grounds. We will be back around Christmas time. We can't understand why...

We stayed here as friend were getting married close. The rooms were old and needed work, however this would have been understandable for such an old building if they were atleast clean. We were moved into another room on a floor that I don't think had been in use and the amount of dust was awful.

Where do I start? We had booked a room for the night here as we were meeting friends for a meal at Little India in Astwood Bank. We arrived a little late due to traffic problems so we're in a bit of a rush to get showered etc... before one of our friends came to pick us up and we...

They tried to run two rooms with just one cast so they were constantly dodging back and forth, It was a lousy show, the food was awful, not much going for it at all, definitely give it a miss, cannot really say much more just that it was a drab night.

This is the worst room I have experienced in years. I now know what happens to old mattresses. They don't go to landfill, they come to Studley Castle. The bed creaks, groans and springs ping with every movement and the mattress dips in the middle. The bed is so close to the wall on one side it is barely accessible....

So disappointed with this place. Fell so below even the most basic standards. Food was terrible ...portions too small... manager is not interested in heating the truth. (Complaint submitred following christmas) The place is tired and the staff try... but how can they do a good job when the establishment is being ran so badly. Don't go !!!!
