We got their biggest (family) and most expensive room and to our surprise, it doesnt have a tv or aircon. It was so hot that we had an uncomfortable sleep at night. It boasts of having a restaurant but in reality, they only serve breakfast. You have to go somewhere else to eat lunch and dinner. I chose this place...

We stayed with St. Bernard's for one night in a fan cottage. Bathroom and room are clean, bed might be bit narrow for some although for us, it was fine. No mosquito nets. Direct beach access and very quiet at night as they do not have a party bar but a small stall/kitchen where you can buy perfectly cool beer...

Me and mijn man spent 2 nights here. Place is silent, which we liked. We had the aircon accommodation, room is okay though we had trouble with toilet flushing (room 4). The owner is not around we heard they went abroad so only young people were managing there. For food, we didn't dine here, we rented a bicycle nearby for...

Interesting little round cottages, decent enough budget place for me traveling alone. Very basic. Out of town a little and my trike driver got a lost returning me at night, so be sure you know where to turn off incase driver doesn't! Gets dark at night so bring a torch or get a ride back. The starry sky is exceptional....

My two daughters labelled the resort as our "new home". The resort is located near Sta Fe port and although it is situated near residential areas, me and my family find it very "homely". They provided us with a simple yet clean round shaped cottages with the basic room amenities me and my family needs. We had breakfast each morning...

Simple, basic, clean, right on the beach ! Good sized cabins, comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast is very basic.... But funny really, staff really do their best to please. Little bit out of town where there are some good resturants. We actually walked to town along the beach a couple of times , good exercise and takes about 15 minutes....

I was GRANDPAcking in Bantayan Island for 8 days. I rented a scooter and spent 1 day checking out the resorts and beaches around the island. The St Bernard is on (IMHO) the second best beach on the island; the best beach is in and around the Kota Beach Resort. The St Bernard offers small fan cottages with cold water...

The staff were really fairly pleasant here and tried to a moderate extent to make our stay pleasurable. That's about as good as it got. The 'resort' is tatty, rundown and littered with rubbish. No effort has been made to keep the grounds, buildings or furniture up to scratch and the place has an air of decrepitude much like an...
