Very nice apartments with all you need for some relaxing days in the countryside. Amazing breakfasts... save your lunch money! The hosts are really nice and helpful. We loved our stay and we hope to come back one day...
Excellent service, extremely clean, very comfortable, good breakfast. A very nice option in this region. If you like total privacy choose a house other than "Casa do Ar". This is the only one facing directly the street so it is not as private as the others.
The hotel is a bit difficult to find. It is on the little corner. Have to drive around twice. Overall area is very quite. Room is nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast serves in the adequate basket; bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, coffee and tea. Internet connection is good but you need to fill in user name and password every time you log in. Overall experience is good. Recommended.
We had our second visit here in March on this occasion we brought my wife's sister, for a special birthday treat. So it was really important that everything went according to plan. The weather was most unkind, raining and cold, but when we arrived we had a nice big log fire waiting for us in our house which was most welcoming, then the two beautiful sisters arrived with some herb tea and local sweet nibbles. They are so kind and professional everything they do is so perfect. We had 2 beautiful bedrooms an ample bathroom, our clean soft towels tied with a lovely ribbon on the bed and a nice little good night chocolate on our pillows. It is so fantastic when you go back somewhere and it is even better than the last visit. We will be back for sure, thank you so much Catarina and Lidia.…
Where do I begin, everything was just out of this world! A hidden treasure in this quaint town. Lydia welcomed us so beautifully and her apartments are really something out of a magazine shoot. Homemade scones with fresh lemon curd, and homemade ice tea welcomed us. She helped with recommendations of where to eat, and waiting for us when we got home was a beautiful candle lit pathway to our apartment (just for us). It was the best night sleep, very comfortable beds and the highlight was the incredibly special (and again homemade) breakfast basket for us in the morning. It is without a doubt worth driving to Nelas just to stay in her apartments and recieved the warm and unique experience. Well done Casas do Patio, there is not enough rating stars to come close to how wonderful our stay was.…
