My roommate and I didn't stay at the hostel but we did their canyoning tour. It was awesome! We left around 10 am and got back around 2:30 pm. The cost was 75,000 pesos per person. Our guide Adrian & his girlfriend Natalia were great. They kept at a pace we were comfortable with, were fantastic teachers (this was my...

Stayed 8 nights in San Gil, Colombia, all 8 were at El Dorado International Hostel. Located just up hill (like 1/4 block) from the city's main square. Close to everything - perfect location. Very clean, great staff, great price. They also have great connections with the local adventure companies - white water rafting, waterfalls, canyoning, hiking, paragliding. Thanks for the...

Lovely but basic hostel in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff able to assist with organising tours. No breakfast included but decent sized kitchen and nice big table in the common area so easy to prepare your own food. Only two showers so best to avoid peak hour!

Place has great location, usual hostel services like common areas, kitchen, tour and bus reservations etc and friendly service. On the negative side it's run by a family, who are hanging out and living on the premises - so the netflix tv was usually used by them and kitchen was full of their dishes. This makes you feel like you're...

We initially intended to stay only two nights at this hostel and ended up staying four! The staff was very friendly and helpful with organizing our daily activities. They gave us a lot of suggestions and were very accommodating. It is also very relaxing at the hostel, with calming music and incense burning during the day. The location is right...

This place is good for solo travelers, couples, groups or even families.. Cool staff that speak english, a lot of recommendations of things to do and super close to the main square. Its a very spiritual place with calming music in the background and scents-exactly what we wanted.

We stayed at El Dorado for 2 nights, which we felt enough time to see SanGil & Barichara. The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful and informative. The facilities are good, great kitchen, enough space to chill. Only recommendation would be better ventilation in the rooms.

Realy Nice And clean hostel. The kitchen is big and little place to sit outside. But you have to go to bed at 10.30 they shut down the lights and you have to go to your room to continue your conversation with other travelers what is actually impossible. The reason is for the other people. Maybe for some people is...

We stayed here four nights and it's an ideal place to chill. Less than a minute to the main square and three great restaurants just outside the front door. The staff were amazing. They were endlessly helpful. They helped us book whitewater rafting and mountain biking and our bus ticket to santa marta. They always had a smile on their...
