One of the hotel chain of Amaya is this where I was. What I can say for this hotel is the best and most beautiful! food, service, friendliness and cleanliness at all! They gave us a bungalow with private pool, butler at your service 24 hours and SPAA! Something amazing and not assessable! If I come again sure I'll come...

Set in the hills outside Kandy (a tuk-tuk ride for 600-700 rupees) the hotel has great views, and a good sized pool. Towels are provided for the pool, and lots of guests take a dip after a hard day's sight-seeing. The bar and reception overlook the pool, and the dining room has a good buffet, with quite a lot of...

Amaya Hills, Kandy, Sri Lanka is a lovely hotel located at the top of a hill and offers eye catching views of the surrounding area (be sure to catch sunrise and sunsets). We stayed here for 3 days in February 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The drive takes you up hill through narrow winding roads. As it was off-peak...

This is a sister hotel to Amaya lake and was the second two night stop on our tour. We arrived in darkness so did not appreciate the beautiful view til next morning. The room was comfortable with adequate storage and well equipped with toiletries etc. The meals were delicious and service pleasant. It is set high in the hills above...

Lovely hotel, warm welcome by the hotel staff. Comfortable hotel and great food. The landscape of the hotel was very nice.In the night it was very cold and it feels good because of the nasty climate in the colombo. We booked only one night and we felt why we did'nt book the second night there. unfortunately the hotel was fully...

Charming hotel from a small chain. Somebody who knows the business. It takes about 20 minutes on a curvy road to get there, but it is worth. Nice rooms and a buffet breakfast and dinner. The food was classic for Sri Lanka. The Lunch was not too expensive and is appreciated. We had Kandy dancers in the hotel. The group...

This is our 2 stay at the Amaya Hills. My uncle, Nimal, a certified guide in Sri Lanka, showed us this place last year, and me and my boyfriend fell immediately in love with this place, and knew that we had to come back soon. This place is truly magnificent, in every way, the surroundings of the hills, the very...

A cosy and compact hotel with breathtaking view from all the rooms....they have lovely violin music playing in the night, near lobby- it makes your evening perfect! The rooms are good with attached balcony overlooking the beautiful kandy landscape where you would love to have your tea in the morning with your partner and maybe a drink in the evening...

The long and winding journey up to the hotel is worth it when you get there and see the amazing views over Kandy. My first impression was that the hotel was quite dated, it looks like it needs a good lick of paint. The room decor was very old fashioned and it smelt quite damp- after the first night I...
