We can thoroughly recommend this fabulous farmhouse setting. The property has been imaginatively restored to a very high quality. Once you walk in the door, a relaxed feeling descends on you. We all slept like babies. Breakfast was delicious and served fresh and tasty using quality products. What a treat! We tried the woodland walk and got to see some...

We stayed here for 4 nights and would certainly repeat the experience. The hosts were very helpful and went out of their way to give us a great stay. The farm walks were especially beautiful. A visit to the Stags Head at South Molton for dinner is a must.

The family stayed here 3 nights. Beautiful quiet location off the road, excellent breakfast, clean, nice room, and friendly hosts. North Devon is a great place to visit (wish I lived there)! The bed & breakfast is a working farm also and (as mentioned) is secluded off the road and is a safe place for the kids to roam about.

Very friendly owners who came out to meet us as we arrived, we were tired walkers. The breakfast was amazing, home made compotes and excellent cooked breakfast. Pub not in walking distance so owner drove us down. This is the only reason I have not given it 5 stars as this can be tricky if you don't have a car...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we're glad to hear you enjoyed your breakfast and cream tea welcome. Our nearest pubs are about 3 miles away, great to visit on one of the circular walks from the farm on very quite, scenic, country roads. Alternatively we are happy for visitors to bring a picnic with drinks...

We reserved 5 of the 6 rooms for a family weekend get together. We were all thrilled about the location, the rooms, the food and the service. This is such a lovely place to stay - we had the luxury of a cosy sitting room for the whole weekend - where we were welcomed with a most delicious cream tea...

Jackie and Tony are wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The setting is lovely and the farmhouse charming. All the rooms were comfortable, with lots of little touches that made a difference to our stay - love the fudge!! The breakfasts are magnificent and the home cooked meal on the Friday evening was delicious. Lots of walks around the...

We had a wonderful time at Huxtable Farms. The setting is lovely and the hosts are very welcoming. Our children (both under 5) LOVED it! Thank you for your great hospitality. I wish I was eating one of those delicious scones right now!

This gorgeous farm house was warm and cosy. We saw baby lambs, hand fed the sheep, watched chicks hatch and collected eggs ! I cannot recommend this beautiful place strong enough. Jackie is so welcoming and kind and will make you feel like you are staying at your moms !

We stayed for four nights at the end of August, and having seen previous reviews we were expecting Huxtable farm not to let us down and it didn't. The common areas of the old farm house are so beautiful it really is a treat to be able to use them. There are three rooms available to all guests - the...

Our Daughter was married in Somerset and we thought we would carry on down to Devon for a few days. Antony and Jackie Payne are superb hosts who are extremely helpful and friendly people.
