Could not ask for more from a b+b I stayed 3 nights and all the staff were very friendly. The food was amazing I had the salmon 1 night, burger another and the rib eye steak. Breakfast was very nice also and they cooked my breakfast an hour earlier than usual which helped me loads due to still having an...

Nikki, Paul & the team at the Fox & Goose welcomed me as an old friend! Frazzled after a long journey, a delightful & reasonably priced Sauvignon blanc was welcome in the traditional & friendly bar. The home made food & service here never disappoints. The fish bouillabaisse is highly recommended! I retired to a spacious, bright spotlessly clean bedroom...

We stayed here for a weekend when visiting family. A last minute choice which we certainly did not regret. The rooms are up to date, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and spacious - a large bathroom and a separate dressing/sitting area in our room. Some special touches too - the flask of fresh cold milk on arrival so no pots of...

We try and get here every 3 months and normally come away delighted but this time the food was somwhat lacking chewy asparagus green potatoes and a dry tasteless terrine all contributed to a second rate dining experience hopeing it is just a bad hair day for the chef

The Fox and Goose is a bit of a mixed bag. The food cannot be faulted but the service and atmosphere need work. Food: we ordered three main course which were delicious and generous in size. The choice was a wide range of basic pub food. Service: we were overcharged on our bill and there appeared to be confusion of...
