This place is fantastic. Great location, lovely hotel with excellent facilities. Close to some lovely beaches. Plenty going on nearby. Saved the best bit till last. Winnie and Peter are lovely hosts and Winnie's cooking is to die for. Nothing is too much trouble and all your needs are met. Peter also helped with a couple of local trips. Don't...

We just stayed there for 4 days and were really sad when we had to leave. The room was really good, the food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the swimmingpool. Thanks for everything to Peter, Winnie, Keytag and the whole staff.

Stayed here recently for the first stage of our family holiday, From the very first contact via email Peter was great to deal with and then when we arrived it was even better, very relaxed atmosphere at Pen Villa and the staff are all extremely helpful and courteous. The meals prepared by Winnie and her team are awesome and nothing...

We had a week-long holiday with our 8-year old daughter in September. The weather was mostly rainy as expected, so we has ample time to relax at the hotel. What sets this hotel apart from similar places is the hosts Peter and Winnie. They take excellent care of you, including gourmet Thai home cooking by Winnie. The facilities are no...

A Convenient Hotel near to the beach and local shops. So this is not the Carlton, Ritz or Savoy. It is a good basic hotel having comfortable rooms with en-suite facilities. There is a swimming pool and a bar. What makes the difference is the way Winnie and Peter, the hosts, look after you. They are a charming friendly couple...

My wife and I have recently returned from a wonderful 4 day stay at Pen Villa Hotel. It certainly has more of the feel of a villa than a hotel. It has all the facilities you would expect in a good quality 3 star hotel but the levels of cleanliness and service go way beyond this. As other reviewers have...

Just back from two days in Phuket, choosing to stay away from the crowds in Surin. Pen Villa offered spacious rooms, and friendly, extremely helpful staff and managers/owners. (Not to mention the best martinis I've had for many years!) Surin Beach is smaller and quieter than those further south, but still offering life-guard service, and showing the safest place to...

I had read the reviews so had high expectations and it exceeded all of these. Hostess Winnie makes the best Thai food i have ever eaten (and i have eaten a lot of Thai food!) Host Pete makes superb cocktails and both are relaxed and welcoming, treating all guests as welcome friends. Nothing is too much trouble including organising mopeds,...

We stayed here for 3 blissful days and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Winnie, Peter and their staff made us feel utterly welcome and we wished we'd had longer to enjoy their incredible warmth and hospitality. Winnie's awesome cooking is delicious and her garden is truly beautiful. The pool is perfect and the rooms are airy, comfortable and very clean....

After several trips to Thailand it was our first time in Phuket. We blew in for just over a week and it instantly felt like home. The friendliness, helpfulness, and local knowledge would certainly entice us back. They helped with the organisation of diving, moped hiring, canoeing, directions around the island etc. Hotel is spotless, rooms large, and huge pool...
