Mom never took such good care of me. Don't get me wrong, I love Mom but Beth and John were the most gracious, curtious and heart warming host you could ever ask for. From the cook to order breakfasts to the second to none hospitality I looked forward to returning each day during my week stay. You will never want...

Can not recommend this place more highly. Beth and John provided exceptional service and make you feel like part of the family, which was most welcoming after our long trip over. Our young daughter loved playing with the toys in the lounge and the home-baked snacks with tea & coffee were a decadent treat. They even provided a port-a-cot for...

We would not have thought to stay here except for many Christchurch accommodations being booked or closed due to the earthquake. While we were very sad for the loss in Christchurch, the silver lining was that we discovered this place, and we met Beth and John. It was like visiting my grandparents, except really cool grandparents who are interesting and...

Garden View is a very nice place to stay, but what really sets it apart are the innkeepers, Beth and John Keoghan. They have a way of making you feel that you are staying with family (family you LIKE, that is!). Shortly after arrival we commented that we had not seen kiwi fruit jam anywhere in New Zealand. Within minutes...

We had naively decided to wait and see where we should stay once we arrived in Christchurch for our last two nights in NZ. We soon found out that everywhere was booked out solid for a long period of time. We eventually found that there was one remaining vacancy at Garden View and jumped at the vacancy. We would have...

Beth and John made us very welcome, they have thought of everything and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was wonderful with a fantastic bathroom and very comfortable bed. We returned on 2 more occasions as we were touring New Zealand for the rugby world cup, there was always a warm welcome. Lovely breakfasts with home made jams and...

Our first stop in New Zealand was the Gardenview Bed & Breakfast in Rolleston with Beth and John Koeghan. We were a little apprehensive because we had never stayed at a B&B before, but right away they made us feel welcome in their home with hot tea and cookies. They were genuinely interested in learning more about us, how we...

We stayed one night at “Torlesse Room with Ensuite” during our roundtrip at New Zealand. It could not been better and we are very happy to see that this kind of paradise exists. The room was perfect with own very big bathroom. The atmosphere was very friendly and helpful and we got good recommendations about dinner places and so on....
