Excellent value for money. Hotel manager very pleasant, chatty and helpful. I will stay there again.certainly worth booking in advance. There are two very popular restaurants near by plus if you feel like it and the weather permitting go for a walk along the canal. Take the right path towards Wasquehal - less muddy.
The place is ok for one or two nights stay, not more. The room was dirty and the bathroom even more. I asked for two single beds and what I have obtained is a double bed and a "make yourself" castle bed. Not very comfortable for a tourist who wants to relax. But anyway... The hotel is located in a perfect place, this is the only positive thing I found about it.
I've stayed at the ibis in Wasquehal a couple of times as it's only a few minutes away from my customer. It's warm, clean and comfortable and the staff always friendly. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful. I will stay again in the future.
Nice location, nice people, very cooperative and friendly. Neat and clean Hotel best value for money. Breakfast is good and best value for money. Good environment and centre commercial is at walking distance.
We stayed in this hotel for three nights, whilst we were touring the battlefields of Flanders (we hired a car from Lille, after arriving by Eurostar). It was difficult to find, and at first we ended up in the nearby "Centre Commerciale". However, when we did find it, it was in a quiet location on a small road by the side of two large restaurants, where you could walk to within a couple of minutes in the evening for a meal and a drink. The parking was ample, and the gate secured at night. There was a quiet canal by the side of the hotel, with joggers / dog walkers along side it. The staff at the hotel were excellent. Professional, friendly, hard working, smart, they made you feel welcome. They even spoke good English. The breakfast was also excellent - cereals, bread, croissants, cheese, yoghurts, fruit salad, tea, coffee, fruit juice and a array of jams and spreads. The room was ensuite, comfortable and quiet. The door to the bathroom needed a lick of paint, but that was a minor point. We would stay here again. Close to many shops, restaurants, too - and we got some discount vouchers for these from the hotel.…
