We last did a driving your of Scotland in 2010 and decided to revisit some of the places lasted last time. We had especially enjoyed the Crinan Hotel with spectacular loch views, would it be a mistake to revisit. Definitely Not! The hotel is unusual and quirky with lots of art work (most for sale) on the walls. The room...

After a walk along the canal with stunning views we popped in for a light lunch. 2 king prawn cocktails & a portion of chips. The portion sizes perfect for a light lunch, superb quality & tasty. They have a fabulous seafood menu & serve teas, coffee & cakes. Will call again hopefully.

The hotel is considerably dated but very clean. Great sized bedroom. Fabulous breakfast, superb dinners in both the Seafood Bar & Westward Restaurant. Excellent service. Just needs some upgrading! Would visit again!

Beautiful views from our rooms. Great dog walking along the canal. Warm welcome from all the staff and excellent evening meal with the best of west coast shellfish washed down with some champagne. So relaxing & feel my battery is now recharged. Probably because I was out of range for my mobile phone!! Bliss.

Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so welcoming. Friendly family atmosphere and lovely local seafood cooked expertly . Langoustines & lobsters feature on the menu and are the freshest you can eat anywhere - the boats land right outside the front of the hotel. Beautiful artwork throughout the building makes the hotel an interesting place to explore...

Very picturesque location and useful stopover to catch ferry to Islay from which is only 30 mins away. Good food, plenty of fish on the menu with friendly staff. Accommodation is dated but room was spacious and definitely had a good view.

My fiancé and i had an overnight stay in this lovely hotel, it is incredibly relaxing with a beautiful location, our room was great albeit a bit dated, however the star was the bed/ pillows they were extremely comfortable. Food was great and so were the staff especially Barbara on reception she is a delight!

We had a three night stay in a superior room. The view from our window was unbelievably beautiful. Our room was large, well furnished and comfortable. We were made welcome by all the staff and the food of a good standard.. We have returned home relaxed and rested and hope to return soon.

Great to be back at the Crinan Hotel after it's winter close. The location, welcome, food, service, comfort, artwork and ever so slight eccentricity of this hotel make it a home from home like no other. Long may you remain unchanged!

This hotel is really unique and fun to explore. With the two pubs on the first floor, and the beautiful restaurant and the coffee/ice cream shop, it was really cool to look around. My husband's family and I came here in October 2015 and it was one of my favorite places that we stayed in Scotland. I felt right at...
