We were only here for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. 'Nunzia' and her team working behind the scenes pulled out all the stops to make our stay as enjoyable as humanly possible. We visited in mid-March 2017 and happened to be the only people staying, guess due to the fact that this is not a holiday...

We found this Agriturismo to be excellent after 11 days. The facility, the restaurant, the location, and the staff couldn't have been better to us. At first the location seemed difficult until we learned to enjoy the surroundings. Room comfort excellent. Restaurant ala cart menu and staff help made this part of our month in Sicily the best part. Location...

Stayed for 2 nights. Cozy rooms, beautiful grounds, fantastic restaurant. Would love to stay again. It is a bit difficult to find (at least it was for our driver), but when we arrived tired and hungry, we quickly settled in to their comfortable rooms. There were loads of lush flowers that perfumed the air, and cute little terraces to sit...

We stayed at La Pietra for a few days after Christmas 2014. Our aim was to relax and visit the area... ie Etna and the surroundings. We achieved just that. The host Nunzia is very nice and helpful to all our requests. The rooms are clean cosy and somewhat bare but do the job very well. There are many good restaurants...

This was a lovely place for me and my boyfriend to stay for 8 nights. It is a beautiful location and we loved the rustic charm. Nunzia and the staff were very helpful and the restaurant served some great food, especially the homemade pasta and also meat balls on lemon leaves. We ate here a few times but we also...

We stayed 2 nights in La Pietra and visited Modica, Syracuse and Taormina. It was 2 hour drive from La Pietra Antica to Modica which is the furthest among three. We enjoyed the significant contrast in scenery and environment between Modica and La Pietra Antica. Modica is a city composing Baroque type buildings while La Pietra Antica is a country...

Spacious room and good pool. The food in the restaurant was not good! Breakfast were leftovers from the day before (and we stayed 3 nights, so the same was coming back every day). Diner: antipasti was good, pasta was mwah, meat was terrible and dessert very simple. Wine was good. At the last morning of our stay we were very...

We had some friends in town visiting and this was the perfect place to bring them. Nunzia was a great host. Breakfast was your typical Italian breakfast (fruits, pastries meats and cheese). The dinner was delicious. We left most of the choosing on what to serve up to the cook and she did a great job. We would definitely stay here...

We travelled to Sicily with our 2 dogs (cirnechi dell Etna) and searched a "pets friendly hotel". Fortunately we were welcome to this hotel with our dogs. And we have the most nice memories about this place. Nunzia, the owner of the hotel, is very friendly and helpful woman. She speaks English and we had not problems with communication. All...

If you need to explore the Etna and the surrounding, stay in " La Pietra Antica O Munti". You will find authenticity, calm and good cuisine. Nunzia and her team is really taking care of their guest and are always ready to help and recommend some place to visit. Really very good value for money. Don't hesitate. Thanks Nunzia Olivier...
