We had a really nice stay at this hotel in July. It was super clean, pleasant and well maintained. Ibiza has become really expensive with a lot of hotels refurbing to become expensive five star hotels and so this hotel is good value for money for those not wishing to spend five star money. Also it has an added bonus of being an adult only hotel.

The staff at the hotel are lovely and it has a nice pool/bar area. I'd like to thank the staff who gave my husband great first aid when he fainted in the bar area, that was much appreciated. Also the lovely reception man who had my husband sit up with him for half the night to book some football tickets for the coming season.

The hotel does overlook the derelict building site and the area around the hotel is a bit run down really. Although there are still some really nice restaurants/bars nearby. There's so much to more to Ibiza than San Antonio area resorts, so if you a hire a car and explore the Island, then this hotel is a great, inexpensive base.

I stayed at Rosamar Ibiza a few weeks ago and had an excellent stay there. They were also very friendly and helpful during my time in the hotel. The customer service was amazing, and the team was able to help me recover a lost item and even worked with me to ship it internationally. I'm very thankful for their help!

The rooms at the hotel are very minimal but were an amazing value for what I needed during my time in Ibiza. The pool area is very nice too, and it was an overall excellent stay. Thanks to the team at Rosamar for their hard work and help!

booked in had to wait two hours till the room was ready, The room was good size bit outdated good aircon, no kettle had to ask at reception , Balcony (room 302) looks out across buildings and partial sea view.TV only 2 English channels (not fussed) room not the best cleanliness after further inspection with grime and hair apparent. Reception staff looked like they were tired and bored, bar staff slow and also looked like they wished you weren't there, pool area good size with horrible view of the graffiti building, lack of parasols, and the ones you could find were broken, overall an average hotel with a need of a shake-up. outside the hotel is not much better with a couple of decent bars and graffiti everywhere, like your in Harlem. Unfortunately, this hotel does lack quite a bit more like a weekend getaway for parties, and this part of Ibiza is a poor mess

Very last minute booking as it was the only hotel who had a room in August due to our flight home being cancelled. On arrival, our room was not 100% clean with cotton buds and bottle lids on the floor. The towels had huge rips in the them and hair on the bed sheets. I complained to reception and they gave me new towels. The walls and curtains were dirty. Also they had a leak in the first bedroom which flooded the entrance and it STANK the whole time we were there.

We each paid €12 for breakfast daily which was disappointing and it was never checked so anyone could just walk in and eat. They did have gluten free bread available. There was no hot food options on buffet display. I was going to rate it 3* overall, but on the morning of check out we turned up to breakfast at 7am but they said it only opens at 7.30am (please see image attached that stands at the front desk). They could not provide us anything and couldn’t get a refund either…so this dropped the review to 2*.

Pool towels require a €10 deposit in CASH which we didn’t have so had to draw from the ATM and it charged €3.95 to draw the money.

There are sun loungers around the pool but only 6 umbrellas so limited. Some of the rooms have sea views but it is looking through a derelict graffitied building.

If you have a car, it’s €15 daily if you want to use their car park otherwise there is street parking but often really busy and we ended up parking 1km away!! Warning: careful where you park as we got a parking fine (and still not sure what we did wrong!).

Make sure you pack earplugs as the doors are really thin so can hear all your neighbours and especially if they flush the toilet or shower, the water/pipes are very noisy. Shower temperature was also very temperamental and often cold.

Overall, very basic and provided us a roof over our heads whilst we waited for our flight home but I would not return.

Hotel was clean, had a great choice of loungers, a really nice pool and really friendly reception staff. The bar staff on the other hand were really slow. It would take ages to get a drink even when it wasn’t busy and the wait for the food isn’t worth it. For 2 days straight we all waited genuinely 1 hour plus for a hotdog and chips for 2 people. The first day we thought it was just a blip but the following day we ordered again to see if it was a one off and we waited another 1 hour 10 mins. When we asked what was taking so long they said that “it was just coming”. If you want a drink or food your best bet is to take your own drink with you to the pool and get some snacks at one of the shops nearby. And for taxis don’t bother- the hotel gives you one number to call and no one answers, it’ll ring out for 20+ minutes with no answer and even if they do they won’t send a cab. Best bet is to go round the corner and try your luck with a taxi on the street. It isn’t great when you’re pretty far away from the strip/clubs so if you’re here for that best bet is to find another hotel or be prepared to walk for 30 mins.

The Rosamar hotel has changed a lot over the years. It used to be an excellent hotel for all ages but now it’s really a hotel for the 18 to 30 people. A former shell of its old self. They don’t open the pool or sun bed terrace till 11 am and that didn’t work for us. The pool area was clean lots of sun beds but only 3 umbrellas and one of them didn’t work. The staff in this hotel were friendly and welcoming and the maid kept our room really clean. We were in room 317. The shower in this room wasn’t good. It went from freezing to burning hot and this was an issue. The bed was comfy but the curtains needed washing. Breakfast was continental style with fresh fruit cereals pastries fresh bread and jam. It was of good quality but the hot food which was in 4 hot plates wasn’t that good and my husband would reheat it in the microwave. The cafe style bar was very quiet day and night. This hotel is great if you want a base and just want to party in Ibiza.

Location: quieter area very close to restaurants and supermarkets. 2 minutes walk tops. Also, all the best beaches are close by.
Parking: off street is free but I would expect it to be hard to find in peak season. Very disappointing that when the receptionist was asked if the parking was free they said: “I don’t know, it’s not part of the hotel” and they smirked.
Food: breakfast has everything you needed. From sweet to savoury. Eggs are disgraceful and the toaster is very old school. You probably need the rotating type to avoid creating long queues each morning. Best if you put out 2!
Cleanliness of the room: they tidy up the room each day and change your towels but they definitely do not clean. By the end of the week my hair was everywhere on the floor. This definitely needs improvement.

Dear Fra4891, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay with us. We appreciate your detailed observations as they help us identify areas where we can improve. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our location, in a quiet area close to restaurants, supermarkets, and beaches. We apologize for the inconvenience with the parking and the response from our staff. We believe the confusion arose because you asked about the lot next to the hotel, which does not belong to our property. We are sorry for any trouble this may have caused. Regarding breakfast, we appreciate your comments. We are reviewing our options and equipment, such as the toaster, to improve the experience for our guests and reduce queues. We regret that the cleanliness of the room did not meet your expectations. We have already addressed this issue with our cleaning team to ensure that rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day. Thank you again for your comments. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and offer you an improved experience. Best regards,

375€ disappeared from the room, and the manager was laughing on my face and saying that because I was drunk I lost them. Unfortunately I don’t drink, and unfortunately the money disappeared from our bags while we were on the beach. If you don’t wanna be robbed go somewhere else!

very dated surrounds as your walking into reception, chunks of paint missing from outside wall. tv didnt work for 2 weeks. lift stopped working after 3 days so we used access lift, control panel was missing, awful smell in the corridor like something had died. toilets in reception were disgusting only one working but c**p everywhere. we complained so much however, the staff were very understanding and helpful. obviously management dosen't care as it was coming to the end of the season. 2 lights in the room and bathroom had to be replaced!

We booked this hotel last year for our families with 3 children. We have only recently been told by our travel company it’s now adults only and we cannot go! Reason for our visit was a family wedding and that is why we booked early. Naturally we are all disappointed and frustrated. I would just like to know if anyone else has had a similar experience and how they overcame it. Thank you.

Dear Happiness19810715162, Thanks for your comments. Regarding the inconvenience with your reservation, the hotel made a change of company that doesn't belong to the same one through which your agency booked. The concept has been changed and currently it's an adults hotel. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Estefanía Jiménez Assistant Manager Rosamar Ibiza
