Quaint little cottage style accommodation set in a vineyard with great views. All room in Barilla cottage had ensuites and the kitchen was spacious. A great base close to Hobart and sorell and an easy drive to the historical sites on the peninsula

I stayed here over a night . The stay was amazing with your room opening in to a vineyard and a lake . The view was awesome . The cottage was clean and supplies were good. The only trouble we had was since we reached a little late we had a hard time in finding a restaurant for food as...

Prior to going we asked for photos of the property and we were given none. Had we seen it we would never have booked. Mouse poo in the cupboards; water in the crockery where it had been packed away wet, jam on the cutlery, heating unaceptable for such a large property - we continually just froze; plus there were no...

Brought my family here in April for one night. Wish we could have stayed all week. You can self guide yourself on a tour of the vineyard (torches and brights provided). Great walk through the vines to the lake. Rooms are adequate with all amenities to cook on site if you wish. Brand new BBQ provided. Cottages are positioned in...

The Riverdale Estate cottages can be reached by driving through the vineyards and the olive groves where sheep are grazing. Everywhere around the cabin you see vineyards and there is a great view over the water and the hills on the other side. I was in the retro cabin which was fun and well decorated. Plenty of colourful sixties chairs,...

Great place to stay and get away from the city life. Stayed here with 2 friends. We had a cottage each. The view was very nice. Located on a winery about 15mins from hobart. Great value for money. Rooms had everything you could need and were very cosy. They even had a BBQ area available for guests. This came in...

We stayed at this "budget" cottage and were suprised and impressed by the stunning views and huge cottage. For the price, it was a steal! I loved waking up to the sunrise over the lake, and enjoyed the privacy. Would def come back!

Agree with other comments. Location is quiet nice, so is the view. A letdown is the accommodation as is a bit too simple and cheap. Too stick some 'Paris'-vinyls on the wall doesn't make a place french. Also the huge black stickers everywhere in the bungalows are very annoying. A simple list of house rule would do the job better....

My mum and I stayed here for one night. we thought for the two of us what had been listed as a 2 bedroom cottage would have been perfect. While the location was 5 a five star attraction the accommodation is not. The views across the water are just lovely. The website is sadly is misleading. The cottage is NOT...
