Stayed at the Inn for 2 nights as part of a trip to Cotswolds with another couple. Would highly recommend this place as a great base to explore. The owners are very accommodating and even went out to buy something for a request! Lovely rooms recently modernised and good choice of meals too. All freshly prepared. Thank you for a great staycation after Covid!

Having spent ages looking for a base near the Cotswolds , this is the one that we opted for. And glad we did. A beautiful place in an ideal location. Reasonably short drives to the tourist attractions or, a two minute walk to the bus stop for the bus into Gloucester. If you don't possess a bus pass then a day trip ticket is the cheaper option, as recommend by the staff. We booked a small double which was on the 1st floor overlooking the car park. A very comfortable bed made for a good nights sleep. Plus the usual shower, TV,and hot drinks facilities. With the weather being warm some people were taking the option of dining outside rather than in the pub. Finally, I have to mention the staff. Friendly, extremely helpful and always up for a laugh no matter how busy they were. I hope it always remains that way.

We stayed for a couple of nights while visiting the Cotswolds, The Thatch was perfect as a base, all the staff were friendly, the food just perfect, I would recommend booking a table for the evening before you arrive as the restaurant is very busy.

Thank you Sandra S/ Caddick for such kind words. Viki is an amazing Assistant Manager and is a very valued member of the team. The Thatch Inn, like many similar properties is very busy at the moment, and the whole team, including our new Chef 'Will' have stepped up to the mark. It's great to read that you couldn't fault the food or service at the Thatch Inn. It will be wonderful to see you back here again at some point soon. Thank you again, for taking the time to leave some feedback for us. Regards Marc

Great overnight stay. Lovely staff, nice food, clean rooms, comfortable bed and nice linen. Will be staying again soon. My partner and I booked one night as that’s all that was available, we were going to a camping shop early the next morning in the same area. It was a great stay, the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. Local people from the area were great too.
