We arrived on the day that the hotel opened for the season, but everything was ready and working properly and the staff were amongst the friendliest and most helpful I have come across. The room (a junior suite) was spacious and very well equipped and came with a large balcony with a great view over the bay and the marina.
Breakfast in the restaurant had a very wide choice of food and the quality was really good.
We spent four days at the hotel and were sorry to have to leave. We hope to return.

So our holidays are now coming to an end and its time i wrote a review for our two holidays at Pure Salt, Port Adriano this year.
We went for 5 nights in June and then again in August, both times staying in Room 3011 the Junior Suite Swim up room. The second time we stayed half board, more of that later.
We love this hotel. We love the convenience of the location of the hotel to the airport (30 mins), the actual location of the hotel overlooking the Port and the sea. The staff are lovely and very helpful and the breakfast is the best we have had anywhere.
The breakfast looks fresh and well presented and the variety is amazing. In August they had introduced Mallorcan breakfast too, as well as sugar free jams etc. The breads are gorgeous and tasty and the chef will cook your bacon, eggs, omeletes how you want them.
In August we decided to do half board, and will definately be doing again. The menu is extensive. At first you think you can only chose off the dinner menu but you soon realise they will do anything for you, which was a godsend for my husband as he is quite fussy with food.
Either way it is always beautifully cooked and presented, well worth the extra money. Also some days you get cocktails on the house, and before each meal the chef will do an hors d'oeuvres, which is a lovely idea and if you don't fancy a starter as you feel it could fill you up, the hors d'oeuvres is a fantastic alternative.
Our room as always is always beautifully cleaned, although this year in our August trip, we had an issue with ants in the bed. Once we had let the reception know they were very prompt to sort it, but unfortunately they did come back but by that time our holiday was over. Hopefully they won't be there next year !
The swim up pool was great both visits, the second visit there was a thunderstorm the day we arrived and also the Thursday so there was alot of debris in the pool but by Friday the pool cleaners had it clear and the guy swept our area where the water beds are, as it can get very sandy and dirty there.
Overall we completely love this hotel, when we return next year in June we are hoping for room 3012, asked both times this year but unfortunately it was already booked. Fingers crossed for next year.
Pure Salt keep doing what you are doing and we will keep returning. Thank you.

I booked this hotel for a long weekend for my husbands birthday and it was a great choice. On arrival we were blown away by the view which overlooks the marina and sea below. Our room was 3205 which had a great view and was further away from reception so it was nice and quiet. The room was very nicely decorated, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were on a bed and breakfast rate, the breakfast had a great selection of food and drink. We did eat lunch in the hotel on our first day but after a €70 bill we decided we would give the marina a try for the rest of our meals. The marina is about a 5 minute walk down a steep hill, the hotel offer a free shuttle service. There is also a lovely sandy beach with water sports available at a charge. We ate at el faro twice for dinner which was excellent, we also ate at the cantina cafe for lunch on most days which was brilliant- definitely recommend the fish tacos! We also tried La Terraza on the hotels recommendation but this was by far the worst restaurant we went to- check out the reviews for more info. On my husbands birthday we got a taxi to Port d’Andratx which is about 20-25 minutes away (about €32 each way), this was a nice change as it’s a bigger resort with a much larger choice of restaurants. My only slight criticism of the hotel is the pool opening times. Towels and mattresses aren’t available until 9am, they are often still cleaning everything around the pool until past that time. The pool bar doesn’t open until around 11am. For us, we are early risers and like to get out and make the most of the day so this was a little frustrating. Having said that the pool guy was super helpful and would try to make you as comfortable as possible throughout the day. The hotel staff were all very good, reception helped me with making my husband’s birthday extra special and the waiting staff were pretty good. Overall it’s a lovely hotel with a great view and we would definitely return again in the future.

Those used to staying in five-star hotels will be disappointed by the value for money. The images on the Internet are misleading, and the hotel has come of age.
The hot tub was running continuously, so we had to call a technician at night, who eventually shut it down. Flushing also did not work properly for several days, which also required repeated technician visits. After our complaint we received a discount because the hot tub was not usable. At over €760 per night, the hotel is significantly overpriced for the standard offered.
The bathroom lacks all amenities. There is only basic shower gel and body lotion, and in the room only one cup and no bottle opener was provided. The pool is kept small and simple, unlike the pictures on the Internet suggest. The breakfast was very varied, however, and the staff was friendly and endeavoured. Nevertheless, we will not stay there again.

The Salt is fantastic. We had a junior suite with a whirlpool on the balcony. The rooms was spacious, spotlessly clean and luxurious. The room was made up twice a day and towels replaced morning and night, if requested. The staff we very attentive and friendly. The pool area is lovely, with great views over the marina. Breakfast was good, although some fish options would also be nice (smoked salmon etc). You can use the free hotel shuttle for short trips to nearby restaurants. A couple of points - I would not recommend paying extra for the balcony whirlpool. It is never really hot enough. And for a hotel of this stature the gym is poor. Lots of cardio machines but only really dumb bells and no weight machines and one broken bench. For a hotel like this they really should invest in more gym equipment. Otherwise very highly recommended.
The hotel is also located within a 205 minute walk of a Spar Supermarket and lots of local restaurants in El Toro that are delicious and well priced. Santa Ponsa is also only 5kms away and if you like running or walking there are good routes to use.

Great location on a cliff directly above the beach, with fabulous views of the marina. Pleasant, helpful staff at reception who were able to give you a lift in the hotel's own Mercedes minivan to the marina, local golf courses & restaurants. No need to book in advance. It was definitely worth wandering around the marina and coming face to face with some of the enormous boats there. Breakfast was enjoyable with a huge choice of pastries, yoghurt, cheese, bread, omelettes, fried eggs and bacon. A lovely selection of juices, cereals and fruit too. Dinner was fantastic, although the menu consisted mostly of fish. We were fortunate to have beef tournedos and beef rib when we were there but noticed that had been removed for the remainder of our stay. Our room had the best view ever and seemed to be in a quiet location at the end of the corridor. The bed was too hard for our liking, but everything else was perfect. There's a useful Spar shop (turn right out of the hotel gates, keep right at the roundabout) only 3 minutes walk away, beside Caixa bank with a cash machine. Good selection of wines, soft drinks and toiletries. The pool area was peaceful & relaxing. Cushions & small pillows were placed on the sunbeds for your use, fresh towels were put in our room every day. Iced water was freely available around the pool all day. All in all, lovely staff, great location, good food and a relaxing break. We would definitely return.

I actually don't know where to start. It's best to start at the beginning ;-) -Instead of a warm welcome, the first sentence was when we were leaving on Sunday, as the hotel was closing for the winter break that Sunday. -Shuttle for the return transfer was not booked - they even showed us the correspondence in which we had requested it on the screen?! -The room smelled old and musty -No water (water bottle) in the room (which I expect in a hotel like this) -When I asked if I could use the water from the tap for the coffee machine and the kettle, I was assured that I didn't need to worry about it, as it was regularly refilled. I should have asked for it to be regular, as it was not "regularly" refilled. Neither the water nor the coffee capsules or the tea. There were only espresso cups, and when we asked, they didn't bring us large ones, so we carried the cups ourselves from the restaurant through the house. -The staff (reception!) tried very hard to create a busy impression. We only felt like guests with two waitresses in the restaurant. -The food on the first evening was sensational. That changed when I ordered ribs, which I sent back because they were 90% fat. The next evening I ordered salmon, which was not cooked through. -After our excursion on the first day, we ordered nachos and two large cups (see above) to our room.
Orders are placed here via reception. 45 minutes later I called again. The answer was "it's not here yet" and then they hung up straight away. 15 minutes later the waitress came with our nachos - without the cups. -The breakfast was disappointing (extent, selection, variety, cleanliness) - we are still in a 5 star hotel! When I discovered a pinworm on the buffet on the second to last day and pointed it out to the waitress, I was not only horrified by the fact that it was so, but also by the reaction. The animal was removed with a napkin. Nothing more! - My desire for breakfast was gone and I was glad that there was going to be an Ă la carte breakfast on the last day (that's what we were told over the phone). The disappointment was all the greater when we entered the breakfast room on the last day and found only the same buffet as before.
-basically everything is unkempt and in a bad condition.
-dirty pool area (there was even a chair in it during our stay - it wasn't removed) -unkempt open spaces - Tables on the terrace were not wiped down, there were still marks from the night before in the morning. Ashtrays not emptied.
In summary: Apart from the worn-out condition of the hotel, it may be that it was the last week before the winter break - but I still think that for 3,000 euros for 4 nights in a 5-star hotel, you can expect everything to be perfect and what isn't perfect is made up for by the great service... at least that's how I know it... None of that applies here!

we stayed for a long weekend for my birthday and wished we had stayed for longer. The hotel was, generally speaking, excellent. The room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed a really good view of the marina and cove below. The hotel grounds were well manicured and there were plenty of sunbeds throughout the day - I don’t think I ever saw anyone struggle to get a sunbed, plus the pool helper will assist carrying over a parasol if you need more shade. The swimming pool was a bit chilly but you get used to it after a couple of minutes. There is also an outdoor (non heated) jacuzzi.
The breakfast buffet was really good quality with fresh hot food cooked to order by the hotel chef, or there was wide selection of cold meats, fruit and pastries.
The bed in the room was really comfortable the only observations which were a little odd was that my side of the bed had no electric plugs and the sinks / basins in the bathroom didn’t have a closing plug so I was wasting a lot of water whilst shaving (minor issues). The shower was really powerful.
The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the marina but the marina is literally 10 mins walk down the hill - if you’re able-bodied it was a really short easy distance away.
We did notice that the pool staff don’t start putting out sunbed mattresses until around 10.30 which we thought was quite late - it didn’t stop us getting on the beds and using a towel though.
The staff were really friendly, helpful, and smiley
All-in-all, I thought this was a really good hotel in a lovely location, and I highly recommend it. I would happily return.

We have just returned from a fantastic two week holiday at the Hotel Pure Salt Port Adriano Majorca. This wonderful hotel is in a beautiful amazing unique location above the Port Adriano marina and beach The staff were all exceptional, very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us especially Savio, Albariño, Victoria, Elizabet, Ruth, Latitcia and Estrella the dining room waiting staff, David on Reception and chef Diego. We are both senior citizens with failing eyesight and so we found it very difficult to see the menu which was presented on an IPad this was especially difficult for us in bright sunlight. After mentioning this to Johanna Lista Ortiz the Guest Relations Manager she arranged for the menus to be printed for us. The food was always first class and delicious. The hotel is in a quiet peaceful mainly residential location but a very short taxi or bus ride will take you to the busy resort of Santa Ponsa where there are many bars and restaurants and people! Palma is around 40 mins away by bus and extremely busy but the Cathedral shouldn’t be missed The buses are cheap and extremely reliable and a less stressful way of exploring than driving. The hotel runs a shuttle service to the port where there are very nice restaurants, bars, exclusive expensive shops and a sandy beach Thank you Johanna and all of the hotel staff who went above and beyond our expectations to ensure we had a wonderful holiday and made us feel very special. If you want a lively hotel with entertainment then this hotel is not for you. If you want peace and tranquility in luxurious surroundings then we would highly recommend this hotel.

Third time we have been to the Pure Salt Pt Adriano due to fantastic location, great view of Marina & quality/cleanliness of rooms/pool which is exceptional.
Staff all very friendly, helpful & free minibus shuttle to the Port where you can explore a range of great Restaurants.
However (!) on day one we were reminded & disappointed to see the level of service at the Restaurant & Bars is still very slow, disorganised & erratic which often spoiled our dining experience. I checked back to my last review in 2019 & clearly had either forgotten or just expected this would have improved!
It began waiting half an hour for our welcome drink & didn't improve much thereafter. Occasionally it was OK but normally took 20 minutes after sitting down to be offered a drink & same again for food orders to be taken. By the time food arrived we had often been sitting for an hour. Sometimes orders were incorrect & on one occasion my food eventually appeared but not my wifes as they had run out of Prawns but not told us - bizarre!
Pool bar service was also so erratic we ended up getting drinks ourselves.
Waiting staff blamed the Kitchen but seemed to be absent a lot of the time & have little awareness when guests were trying to get served. We (and other guests) often had to get up & go find a member of waiting staff to get drinks or a Menu, not really what you expect at a Hotel of this calibre.
It was hard to work out whether it was a lack of Management, Training or the paperless Menu & ordering system which the staff seemed to dislike as much as everyone else did. Perhaps it was just a combination of all of the above, but the slow service was often a topic of conversation amongst Guests.
Despite a few polite complaints nothing changed & no one seemed to be in charge, so having experienced this on our last stay, we gave up & just went to the Port Restaurants for lunch & dinner for the rest of our holiday where the service & food was excellent.
It's a shame the Hotel is still let down by this aspect as it's fabulous in every other way, but it's too expensive to justify such poor service so unfortunately we won't be back for a fourth time.
