Wonderful surprise--charming host, delightful hotel--an architectural wonder, hidden behind an unassuming facade. Spacious room, modern bathroom. Enjoyed entertaining friends in the library, with refreshments supplied by our host. Excellent gluten-free breakfast. Lovely garden. Great place to use as a base while exploring the region.

We were at this hotel for a weekend with some friends and we really enjoyed the quietness, atmosphere, the pool and all the explanations of the owner about the history of the house. The hotel is located in the center of this small house, in an historical modernist house that gives the idea of being in another period. The surroundings...

Lovely and adorable hotel with very friendly staff, even though communication was a little difficult given our level of Spanish and their English. Very quiet and peaceful area, beautiful secluded back yard with a lovely pool. Minor points of improvement: beds were really hard, pillows not the most comfortable (although we've seen this a lot throughout Spain). Owners could sometimes...

Beware, you need to park in the local square and getting there from the hotel fewuirees some very tight turns. Car remained perfectly safe...

We enjoyed our stay here and would echo the comments made here. Lovely, genuine individual boutique hotel. Very peaceful. Beautifully, and personally decorated. Peaceful. Unobtrusive service. No dinner served in the hotel so make sure that you have bookings elsewhere (see recommendations on my other entries here).

I don't know why but i thought this hotel would be out of the village. But is in right in the center of the very small village Xerta just behind the church. Once you come through the old doors you are back in time about at least 100 years. The hotel is so nice decorated and the atmosphere is great....
