I stayed here for just one night. The hotel is in a lovely location. Reception area and lounge very traditionally Scottish. Certainly geared up for the coach trips. My room was ok but did smell a bit damp. The old tv didn't have many channels and the picture was poor. Shower room was ok but took a while to get...

Very poor I was put in a bedroom with no toilet or shower. There was a toilet and bath across the hallway the toilet seat was all chipped and the bath was all grubby looking through age but no shower. I had a 14 inch TV video combo which only had 1 working channel. The furniture was very old the...

We went to the hotel as part of a David Urquhart tour. The manageress met us on the coach and allocated our rooms, while she was doing this our cases were being removed and they actually made it to the room before us. Yes the hotel needs a refurbishment but everything I saw was spotless despite there being 2 coach...

I came here on my own and I have booked up to come back in January. I can't praise this little gem enough. Coach driver was a great laugh and he really made the journey with his knowledge. The staff couldn't do enough for you and the surroundings were just breathtaking. See you soon Garve!!

Had occasion to go on four day coach trip with David Urquhart to Garve. I had a fantastic experience at the Turkey and Tinsel break. Food was excellent, staff were most helpful and polite, room was cleaned every day, and the manager Ian was hands on. Enjoyed the excursions too.Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed as part of urquhart coach trip. Yes the hotel is needing some refurbishment, but the welcoming and friendly staff more than make up for it. Food was very good quality, plentiful and hot. Rooms bit tired and they do need to replace the beds, they have seen better days. All in all lovely hotel to use as a base...

Good decor, efficient staff, and a clean and comfortable room. The meals were of good quality and quantity and well presented. One of the few places where the bar was very reasonable. Possibly the only negative was the television which was ancient and had only three blurry channels to view.

We have just returned from a David Urquart Travel mid week break (Four nights, five days) based at this Hotel. We knew immediately from the Manageress that it was going to be excellent. She explained all we needed to know and could not do enough for everyone. This was continued from all her staff who were some of the most...
