Only stayed one night (cycle touring) but Great people, nice food, excellent ale, spotless clean room. Would make a great base for exploring the area, cosy lounge with wood burning stove. Helpful hosts.

We had two meals here and both were excellent. Not a huge menu just a selection of unpretentious, but excellently cooked and tasty food. Fish, when we ordered fish and chips, was outstanding. Fantastic staff gave friendly and efficient service and worked very hard.
