I had booked 2 nights at this hotel and cancelled the hotel booking over the phone before their stated deadline that should have qualified me for a full refund. However, they never cancelled the booking and proceeded to charge my credit card anyway. My suggestion for anyone doing business with them: have all correspondences conducted over e-mail.

We loved our stay at Villas d'Arromanches - so much so that now, a year later, as I'm writing TripAdvisor reviews from a more recent trip to Europe, I'm still thinking about it! The buildings are lovely, the room comfortable with a nice view of the town and pastures, and even a little ocean! Breakfast was excellent. Arromanches was pretty... More

At a walking distance from the Town center and the WWII landing beach 1944 and museum. Very cosy rooms. Nice little garden to sit and enjoy a warm evening. Parking is no problem. Breakfast was more than OK. No regrets we stayed there a night.

A small mid 1800's Manor House on the outskirts of Arromanches, yet still within a ten minute walk from the heart of the town. It amazingly survived unscathed after both World wars. The room we had was a bit on the small side but beautifully appointed. The decor was bang up to date in cool shades of grey/greens. The bedding... More

This place is like a hidden gem! It's within walking distance to the beach. The hotel is nice and welcoming. Rooms were nice and spacious! The only drawback is there is no lift. Makes for carry luggage up four flights a bit tricky!

We based ourselves here for a few nights to use as a base whilst exploring Normandy and the D-Day beaches. Its a great location, very clean and comfortable rooms (we had a newly refurbished one) and easy walking distance to the town for the evenings. Breakfast was very nice but maybe a touch overpriced for what it was? But none... More

After reading reviews here we booked a renovated room in the new part of the hotel. It was just lovely. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were superb. Breakfast was great and the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful. Parking was straight out the front. Bathroom was clean as was the room. We loved our stay... More

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We found it very convenient to the center of town. The room was clean and modern. We would definitely recommend to friends visiting this area of France.

The hotel is in the process of being renovated, some rooms have, some have not. Neither the booking site I used (no idea why, I normally book direct) nor their own site make this clear and the booking site I used has since changed the room definitions and has included a category ‘Economy’ which refers to the un-renovated range. The... More

Dear FoodieOswestry, thank you for having shared us your opinion. Actually, as you indicate it, our hotel is in the course of renovation. Having announced us of your concerns during your reservation on Booking, and not being the only one we actually asked the name to be changed in "economic". We would be delighted to see you againduring a next... More
