We decided to escape to Prince Edward County for the Canada Day long weekend. My husband and I were so glad we decided to book The Edward B&B for a 2 night stay. At the time of booking our reservation online, we opted to stay in the East Suite since it was just two of us. The room was bright and airy with thriving houseplants and classy accessories. The en-suite bathroom was spacious and featured Body Shop products. We definitely appreciated the delicious breakfasts prepared by Mano each morning. They were delicious and he is a very gracious host. He made us feel welcomed and took good care of his guests. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch of The Edward in the late afternoons and early evenings, sipping wine. The Edward is in a very peaceful setting. We came away feeling refreshed and relaxed. We highly recommend it!…
We were on our 1st visit to PEC and opted to stay in a B & B. We were very, very pleased with our two night stay at the Edward. The hospitality was 120% and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. The room and home were beautiful and the atmosphere so relaxing, Would recommend the Edward and would love to return, As well we had a delicious gourmet breakfast each morning. An amazing stay!
We visited in May, and it was the most perfect getaway. The stay was a birthday present for my husband, and we enjoyed two wonderful nights at The Edward in the master suite. We wanted to escape from the city and see the stars, which we did...and so much more. We had a cozy campfire with s'mores one night, enjoyed restful sleeps on the comfy king bed, and saw lots of wildlife (deer, bunnies, wild turkey, and more). The hosts are thoughtful and a joy to chat with, the food is delightful, and the house itself is a gem. Things we enjoyed in the area: Lake on The Mountain Inn for dinner (be sure to reserve), Kinsip House of Fine Spirits (the whiskey casked maple syrup), Books & Company in Picton (great selection of books and delicious iced lattes at the cafe), Sandbanks Provincial Park (hiking the sand dunes), and La Condesa in Wellington for late lunch on our way home (sangria and fish tacos were amazing). If you're trying to decide between staying here and somewhere else, I would say it's the amazing hosts that really made the stay so special. We had never been to PEC before and would go back and stay here in a heartbeat.…
My husband and I stayed in the East Suite over family day weekend. The entire house was bright and cozy, and all of the owners are very friendly. After returning back from dinner both nights we stayed up for a bit to chat about the day and got to know each other. The breakfast was delicious and we are already thinking of returning back and bringing friends to join. Highly recommend!
Had a great one night stay. Rooms are beautifully appointed and well stocked with whatever you could need. Manno is a fantastic host and cook, providing delicious breakfasts. Was also able to provide excellent local recommendations for food and wineries. Hope to return!
