This has to be one of the most relaxing spots on the planet. We stayed here for two nights in mid-September and, despite the fact that I had to work part of the time, it was impossible to be stressed. There's a charming pool, the rooms have lovely mountain and river views, and Stephen and staff are helpful and friendly....

We wanted to be totally removed from day to day urban life whilst being surrounded by lush scenery and so with a hammock to swing in, in order to take it all in on our balcony, we found the perfect way to kick start our tour of the region. We really loved the fact that there was no TV and...

Relaxing pool, mostly quiet, vegetarian food options were nice. Beautiful but a bit hard to get to (though worth it for sure).

My husband, brother & I spent two nights at Casa Grande at the end of a short trip to Puerto Rico (after San Juan & Rincon on the West Coast) and it was absolutely the highlight! We actually stayed there in March 2008 and came recommended to us by friends of ours (a couple living in the US Virgin Islands)....

If you are looking for a place with a lot to do, this isn't it. I spent several nights here reading, writing, swimming in the pool, going on walks, and doing yoga in the morning. It's removed from just about everywhere, and the road to it is windy and narrow - you aren't going to hop into town for a...

If you're an inexperienced mountainside driver, be prepared for the twists, turns, chickens, potholes, and beautiful scenery you'll encounter on your way to Casa Grande. Once you arrive, you won't want to leave. Our 3-night stay with the absence of all forms of technology was a welcome retreat from our fast-paced NYC life. The hotel is nestled in the lush...

We spent just one night here and enjoyed it vey much. Getting there is the first part of the adventure, but we are experienced driving all over the island and know what to expect. Their directions are good but we had the GPS dialed in ton a spot nearby. They wisely recommend to follow the directions and not the GPS,...

Thank you for the lovely review. We're glad you enjoyed the simplicity of the retreat. Our lunch and dinner menu is one and the same. The party of six each had a main course of $16 or $17 and there were five desserts totalling $20. The rest of the tab included $26 in beverages, 15% service charge and 7% sales...

After a week at the St Regis Bahia beach basking in luxury and all the creature comforts we decided to go see what the real Puerto Rico is about. So we headed out to the mountains and picked Casa because of all the lovely reviews from Trip Advisor. I can tell you that we are not disappointed. It is everything...

Follow the perfectly detailed directions to this surprisingly remote and lovely retreat. Steven was a perfect gentleman and host, working with me to accommodate our group of 22 new grads. Though this isn't the typical spot, you'd think, for a group of active 18-year-olds, they explored to their hearts' content, swam in the lovely pool (which Steven allowed open later...
