Great place to stay. Our family feel very welcome at Kelton guess house. We had the most delicious breakfast in the city and really it a very highly recommended place to stay. The place is very clean and tidy with wifi and television on-board. ! Margareth is the very helpful person and definitely we will stay again for our family...

People; lovely and attentive with an air of staying with family. Room; clean, neat and tidy with a comfy and cosy single bed. Plenty of space to move around in. Breakfast; sets you up for the day, Margaret's porridge is to die for with a full Scottish to boot. Would recommend bringing an eye mask because the room we were...

We booked two nights for Tough Mudder and couldn't have been made anymore welcome. Margret is lovely and will try to accommodate any requests. The rooms are homely and spotlessly clean, as is the shared bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and as big as you want and Margret will try to feed you up! Next TM, we'll book here again.

I would stay here again no problem. Lovley and friendly and nice breakfast. Visited friends in the area close to where we met up with them. Shared bathroom but spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and lovley and warm.

Booked this for a 1 night stay with 3 kids and 2 dogs in tow . From our initial dealings over the phone to our meet and greet by Margaret, our welcome was warm. The property was very clean and accommodating and Margaret went out of her way to ensure all home comforts provided even providing a good range of...

We booked for two nights at the B & B and when we arrived Margaret wasn't there but she did leave a note to tell us to go to the shop just down the street, she seemed a bit flustered and left the shop in charge of a lady on holiday from Canada (not sure if she actually knew her)...

I was in Thornhill for a wedding reception and looking for a room for the night. Margaret who runs The Kelton B&B was very friendly and accommodating. I was given a twin room which was very clean and spacious. In the morning, I was served with a nice hearty breakfast. If you happen to be in or passing through Thornhill,...

Perfectly situated in a lovely village. My bedroom was a double and very spacious. I slept very well every night despite being on a very busy main road. Margarets cooked breakfast was excellent and generous but I personally would have liked to enjoy some fresh fruit every morning. Some hooks on the inside of the bathroom door would have been...

My husband and I have just returned from an overnight stay at the Kelton Bed & Breakfast. When I booked the stay with Margaret, I told her that we had an appointment at 11am and that I didn't know if we would get to her first or after this, but she assured me this was no problem and that if...

A warm welcome awaits visitors to Margaret's house. The facilities are immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was substantial and well-cooked. Despite the roadside location, the traffic noise was minimal and a good night's sleep was had. Recommended.
