When visiting Closeburn and Thornhill we stopped here for lunch. The hotel is situated at a prominent corner in the main street. The lunch of soup and a filled roll was very good as were the drinks. The lounge bar is very comfortable.

the simple answer is yes and you can either stay in the hotel itself or as suggested one of the own door cottages - something we find easier.
