Hotel property and the view is very good, but service and rooms are below average.

Services and hospitality below par not upto what we expected.

Toilet is not so well equipped and door knobs are almost broken.

Swimming pool is good but showers inside the toilet near the swimming pool are broken and cannot be used.

Gym and health club is clean and all equipments are well maintained and seems to be new.

This hotel is worth to stay if guests want to relax seeing the view.

Hi 4206 here, spent my last night malang with amarta, the resort was quiet big, the lobby little bit small for a resort, the variety of buffet is great but the restaurant packed with family and group on the weekend, the pool also packed on the weekend but have a good view. The room looks old and need to maintain cause theres a lot scatches on the wall, cleanliness can be improved, the view on the room unbeatable. Breathtaking view on the fifteen celcius skyloung and also theres a lot insta spot around the resort!

We stay here for business meeting. The hotel located on highland of Batu. The room was comfort enough. The meeting room and the facitilies were good enough. The best here was the weather. It was cold and fresh. Other good thing was the view in the evening. We could see the city lights. The food was average.

We booked 2 villas with jacuzzi because our children love to swim in it. When we get to our villas, we called front desk to send someone to warm up the water in jacuzzi. However, nobody picked up the phone. After calling 3 times, somebody picked it up and promised to send an engineer to our room. We were waiting for more than 30 minutes and nobody showed up. The children were so enthusiastic they can't wait any longer. So they swam in the cold water. We called again and was promised the engineer will show up soon. However, nobody showed up after we waited for another 30 minutes. We called again but nobody picked up the phone, so we went down to the front desk ourselves to ask for the engineer. Finally, after over 1 hour waiting, they send the engineer to warm up the water.

To make matter worse, one of the bathroom's toilet was clogged and it took over 1 hour for the hotel to send staff to fix it. And again, one hour to send towel to our rooms. We are experienced traveller from Canada and never received this kind of poor service from other places we visit. Amarta Hills need to improve its service immensely to be competitive.

This is our third visit to this hotel. All great before we know that when we were going to 15th Celsius Lounge we have to pay IDR 25K/pax which is previously not. We are stay here and its mentioned that this lounge is one of hotel facilities. It doesnt make sense! Once we ask why, they just told us that because the lounge is not under management?! Who cares?! Even if it yes that its not under hotel management, dont put it on hotel information then. Should we asking every facilities under hotel management or not? So disappointing!

The most terrible thing in this hotel is the breakfast. We stayed here for 3 nights but the problem was the same. We came at 8.30 a.m. but there's nothing left for breakfast. All the plates and glasses were empty. No food at all. We just found only rice and chips. No cereals, no cakes, no fruits, no salad. The refill took sooo long. It seems that they are not ready for many guest (we came there during holiday). The good thing is just the view of the mountain. They also didnt provide enough swimming towel for all guests. Think twice to stay in this hotel

I go to batu very often because my husband had business here, so we usually stayed at 5star hotel, since this time the hotel was full booked, we try this new hotel turns out it really bad hotel, first the room is small, the towel is dated, the pool is not equipted with pool towel, the buffee breakfast is bad, close at 10am but at 9am theres no food left, what makes me more dissapointed is that the staff have no manner (the girl in front) and insisted that i have to pay more for my son, that usually only have a glass of milk for breakfast WOW what a service, my holiday was worst when i want to try the 4th restaurant and want to reserved, but the girl staff told me that for weekend they can accept any reserve, and turns out when i came last night i overheard that there are few guest who can reserved first WOW great service isnt it, so therefore i wont reccomend this place to anyone else, and definetly will come back to my 5star hotel since it gives me wayyyy more satisfaction service than Amarta

Stay there if you want to feel terrible services and facility while stay in executive suite.
The exhaust fan in the 1st floor bathroom was off. The water in the jacuzzi was so dirty. And the water was cold.
The worst of all : before we went out for a sight seeing, we told the in charge person at receptionist to clean up our rooms before 12 pm. We came back at 14.30 and guess what? The housekeeping staffs still cleaning up our rooms.
Even worst about the pool. Our children wanted to swim but the hotel staffs said we couldn't use the pool because there were some TV crews took a video shooting for their TV show. So? We pay high and we dont deserve the facility? We insisted to use the pool.
I won't reccomend my friends, family and collegue to stay in that hotel.

Stay here for 3 nights but there's nothing left for breakfast at 8.30 a.m. until 10. The refill took forever.. Even the cereals and chili sauce. My kid only had rice with some chips.. Better to have breakfast outside... So terrible... The juice is tasteless also the food.
