Beautiful old house set in 5 hectares of grounds, large spacious bedrooms, an excellent dinner (a set menu) and breakfast made this an ideal stop over on our way back to the UK. We loved the space in the house, lots of spretate areas each with their own ambience. Run by a young friendly couple a place to be recommended....

Jedy and Damien pull out all the stops to make you feel welcome. The rooms are luxurious, we had the one with the enormous bathroom (complete with jacuzzi), and the evening meal is a delight, made extra special because carefully chosen wines are included. Worth making an extra stop whether you are heading south or north. Only 2 hours from...

Delightful decor, exquisite setting, comfortable room, first class food and a friendly welcome. This is an absolute jewel. Whilst I wish Jedy and Damien every success I just hope it doesn't get so popular that we have difficulty getting in. I forgot to mention that is also excellent value

We tried to stay here before but the illness of Jedy's father and then ourselves put paid to that ,so absolutely delighted to have made it this week on our way back from the Alps. Such a convenient position so close (7 kms) to the A26, 2 hrs from the tunnel. The house has been brought up to standard by Jedy's...

It was our third visit here and Jedy and Damien have taken over the family business and it remains of high quality in all aspects. Excellent evening meal and accommodation. We stayed in room 5 which was very spacious and overlooking the front of the hotel. I believe the rooms at the rear overlooking the lake are also excellent. We...

We stayed here again at the end of a European holiday and it was so nice to be greeted with a warm welcome by Damien who immediately invited us to enjoy drinks and gateau in the shade of one of the lovely trees on the lawn. The breakfasts were served in the conservatory and every day was sunny and idyllic....

This is a big house with wonderful views from the bedrooms across water and woodland to the far ridge of hills. You are not far from the source of the Somme here and the landscape has a generosity of rolling chalkland hills and broad agricultural land dotted with tiny hamlets and villages. On our arrival, we were met by Damien...

We have stayed here three times now and would like to congratulate Jedy and Damien for carrying on the tradition established by her parents Anne & Jos and adding their own personal touch. On arrival we were met and given tea and cakes in the beautiful grades. We had a bedroom with splendid views of the lake, an excellent 4...

Location, views, food, service, price! We especially loved the view from our room especially as it was the cheapest room. Drinks and nibbles on the terrace before dinner. The gourmet dinner was very special, something to dress up for. Loved it! Thank you!

We stayed for one night and enjoyed it very much indeed. We could not have had a better start to our holiday. It is an easy drive from Calais and we had no problems finding it following the instructions on the website. The house is beautiful and set in wonderful surroundings with fabulous views. We had the least expensive room...
