Booked here for a pre-weekend stay for my wife's birthday. We had a great all round experience. The hotel is very well presented and is modern whilst retaining a traditional feel. The room we had was very clean and had had all the amenities you'd expect such as tea and coffee, hairdryer, shampoos/ shower gels etc. Communal areas and the...

Stayed at The New Inn with a party of friends, 6/7 Dec. The hotel is comfortable, well appointed and the staff amenable. We enjoyed a very pleasant dinner on our first night, though the range of wines was limited. A number of us had dogs with us, and the hotel is very accommodating to our four legged friends. One observation...

Well, we have been coming to this lovely inn for probably 20 years now and enjoyed many many personal and special celebrations there courtesy of several different owners. As regular dog walkers to the area, today we encountered hundreds of people. Simply amazed to find the Inn "closed for maintainance" on the busiest bank holiday of the year. ???????????

We visited recently for lunch & found the service & food below what we expected given many good reviews. Lunch was very slow, two orders were wrong and although they we changed, there was no apology. The landlord seemed a bit grumpy as well. However, it is in a beautiful location & I would be willing to give it another...

Found this hotel on Secret Escapes and we struck it lucky for sure. Tucked in Yorkshire countryside, the air crisp and fresh, it was a great start for things to come Our room was very clean , listed as the Luxury double but the bed was more like a super king . Mattress was super comfy so me and hubby...

Loved our short stay at the New Inn, as soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the landlord, who also made us feel exceptionally valued through out our stay. The room we booked was advertised as an executive suite on trip advisor, and turned out to be the honey moon suit which was a cosy (but...

Myself and my girlfriend have visited The New Inn four times in 2016 and what can i say? It is our bolt hole of calm and serenity. Ron and his team treat us like royalty. Ably assisted by head barman Michael and the charming Alesha who acts as a head waitress/host - the service offered is first class. The rooms...

A lovely few days away. Staff are very friendly and always helpful, provided maps and interesting local information which was nice. Fantastic food and selection of drink. Rooms are well decorated and well maintained. Very easy to find and parking was readily available so had no issues travelling out and coming back.

We booked our hotel, breakfast and dinner through Secret Escapes for my birthday from Sunday evening for 2 nights. Upon arrival we were shown up to our room by a young gent from behind the bar who carried our case up also! The room was beautiful, the furniture was gorgeous with all the right finishing touches.... IF we were to...
