I am reluctant to actually write this much negative review of this place and their owners. I absolutely concur with the previous review of the worst B&B experience. A group of nine well travelled people stayed at this Chateau which was booked as Chateau de La Lede for 10 days and were totally disgusted with the property and the owners. We rented from a Saturday to a Saturday, but arrived on the Wednesday to see the owner just finishing mowing the lawn. Upon arrival they hurriedly showed us through and couldn't get out of there quick enough. The property was described as Authentic, but that was only a cover up for, dirty and dusty. In both the kitchen and dining rooms there was ash in the fireplaces which looked like hadn't been cleaned - full stop. The kitchen windows were dirty, and the oven and hotplates hadn't been cleaned very well. There were dirty dishes in the servery area and we had to wash them before we could use them. The outside grounds were unkempt and... More

This was the worst B&B we have stayed at in our lives.
The clean grand exterior hides a dusty dirty musty interior.
We stayed in the summer Josephine room . The bed ends were covered with dust which you could write your name in. The room was full, of some relevent and some totally inappropriate, ornaments which were also covered in dust. The chair seats were stained and similarly covered in dust.
The furniture was admittedly antique but also had pieces falling off and one item had a children's book propping up one leg.
The light switches, particularly that of the bathroom was covered in brown greasy dirt from years of use without cleaning.
The balconies ,for which one pays extra, were covered in pigeon excrement and as such unuseable for fear of catching an illness.
There were none of the usual facilities in the room and bathroom such as water, glasses etc and the towels were very rough.
The breakfast crockery was chipped and broken and...

“Don't choose any, they are full of inconsequential artifacts that are dirty and dusty. No flyscreens and all sorts of insects fly in at night”
