Detailed Reviews
This resort is very well kept and clean and the staff will do whatever they can to help you out. The units are not waterfront but just across the street/lane from the lake. The units are like townhouses with lots of stairs so mobility issues could have a challenge. The only real negatives are the pebble beaches (not sand) and the lack of air conditioning in the units. Temperatures easily hit 35*C (90+F) so be prepared to go jump in the lake to cool down. Hot units make sleeping a bit of a challenge. Having said that this resort would make a cozy winter getaway with their gas fireplaces. Bring your own boat as the Shuswap Lake is definitely a water sport destination and the resort has its own dock. Community Park swimming area right next door. Not much for cycling or hiking in the immediate area but lots of hikes, viewpoints, and villages along the way to the resort. Pack in your groceries and just chill out. And like I said, if you don't like the heat, go jump in the lake!

We recently stayed at St. Ives for a second time and had another relaxing and enjoyable visit. We chilled on the deck and enjoyed the views over the lake and also went paddling a couple of times with the kayaks (kindly provided by the resort). It is also great that we are able to take our pet with us on our vacation. Loved our stay and will stay again. Thanks Patty and the rest of the team

Is very relaxing place. Good place to stay while you take in the hiking and water sports. I good hike to Evelin falls and Abas falls. They have trail maps on site and are very helpful with anything you want to know about the area. Also pet friendly

Thank you for taking the time to write such a great review. It's so nice to see you both return to the resort along your very sweet dog, Emma. Take care until next time.

Thoroughly enjoyed the lakefront view & tranquility of this end-of-the-road resort. The quiet small beach across the street is beautiful. The units are older but very well maintained and the kitchen is very well stocked. Bring your own groceries as it is a fair drive to the grocery store. We ate most of our meals under the umbrella on the little deck. There is a nice little hike nearby at Evelyn Falls. We would definitely go there again.

Room was clean and the staff was great. Swimming was roped off at the lake so safe for children. Lots of free water craft. Quiet and a wonderful family vacation. The grand kids are 4 & 7 and said it was the best vacation ever!

St. Ives Resort was just what I need to relax and rejuvenate during these chaotic times. This unit was fully equipped and super clean. The view of the lake from the top of the hill was great with the morning sun to brighten the living area. The fireplace was cosy and heat could be easily adjusted in each room. There was easy access to the beach and wooded areas nearby. Take advantage of visiting in the winter if you want a remote and peaceful retreat in nature.

This is an older place, so you have to overlook the patches and things. But, overall we had a nice stay. It is off season and with Covid, things like the games room was closed, which was a bummer, but expected. We had a nice view of the lake. Make sure to take all the food you need, as the closest town is a 40 minute drive or so. There is a gas station market about 10-15 minutes away. If you need the bedroom dark to sleep, bring blinders for your eyes. There is a lot of lights outside. The staff was very nice.

We were really glad we took our boat!!! The Provincial park on the middle of the lake was a gem! Only accessible by boat. Winery's were well worth the trip, next time we would go on a Wednesday or Saturday to go on the tour. The wine tasting was so good, we don't even drink wine and we bought some.

We love to travel in the fall, and had a wonderful stay at St Ives Resort on Shuswap. The location is beautiful, the resort well maintained. The unit we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Enjoyed our hikes, which were a reasonable distance. Kayaks, paddle boards, and pedal boats were available to use on site. A special thank you to Patty, our resort host/manager for an excellent stay. We will definitely try to come here again.

Bring all your food & drinks, books, games, and hiking boots, and expect a wonderful time. Main attraction is the lake and great outdoors. Unplug and enjoy the peace and quiet. Few, if any, restaurants survived in the area and the closest deli/store/gas station at Ross Creek can only provide some basic groceries, so stock up in Kamloops beforehand.

Thank you for this lovely review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with your dog, Bodie. Just so others know, there is a larger grocery store in Scotch Creek with both a deli, liquor and gas outlet and the resort is less than 1/2 hour further down this same road coming in from the highway. The Hub restaurant in Scotch Creek is a really popular year round restaurant but there are far more options in the summer for eating out.

Sorry, just saw this as (closed for Covid) and so wanted to let you know that we have an excellent snowmobiling at Crowfoot Mtn. (20 minutes away). There is also x-country trails and free snowshoes. This is a cozy, peaceful resort with fireplaces, beautiful lake and mountain scenery with several hiking trails. 1 1/2 hours from bigger cities but close to grocery store and pharmacy.
Sorry, just saw this question (closed for Covid) and we have several other reviews on Google if you want to read them. There is an awesome snowmobiling at Crowfoot Mtn. that is 20 minutes away. Also, x-country and snowshoeing are available, snowshoes are free at resort. A cozy peaceful resort with fireplaces and beautiful scenery, 1 1/2 hours from bigger cities but close to grocery stores and pharmacy.
It would take you at least two hours to get there from Revelstoke. Depending upon the weather.
