First the cabin we stayed in was brilliantly clean and fresh. There was no smell of stale air or residual odour of the previous client. The cleaning staff must air out the cottages every time they clean them. It's a small thing but shows a great attention to detail. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable. I was able to park right in front of the cabin which made moving luggage very convenience. The view from the cabin porch is beautiful. The cabins are conveniently located about 10 min from Gros Morne National park and we used them as a home base for exploring the Bonne Bay area. It is a 60 min drive to Norris Point or Rocky Harbour. There's no restaurant on site but there are good restaurants in Woody Point 15-20 min away. Staff is friendly and an on-site shop is handy if you need snacks or other amenities. They also offer a laundry, but it is only available after the cleaning staff use it for bedding. We couldn't take advantage of it due to our schedule, but it is a handy feature.

Without a doubt one of the nicest properties we have stayed in near Gros Morne. Chalet was well appointed, clean and exceptionally comfortable. WiFi was fine but a bit slow at times. Just as an FYI for other visitors coming to the area. cell service can be spotty. This is obviously not the fault of the property but keep in mind if you depend on your cell for essential contact.

We enjoyed our stay at Middle Brook cottages. We had a 2 bedroom cottage. It was very spacious and comfortable. The cottage was clean and had everything that we needed (microwave, dishes, etc). There was a laundromat, gift shop and small playground. The location was great. It was next to a walking trail that lead to a waterfall/swimming hole. We walked there everyday. It is very close to the Tablelands and countless other tourist attractions. We would recommend this place if looking to have an enjoyable holiday in Gros Morne.

Do not stay here….the customer service was terrible…not one friendly staff person.We were charged $150.00 cleaning fee as they said we had the dog in the cabin….this is not true…the dog was never inside the cabin. Our daughter, husband and one year old baby stayed in the cabin. As there was a no pet policy we took their dog and kept him in our trailer….he was never in the cabin. If there was any dog hair it may have been from our daughter and her family visiting the dog at our trailer or from being in the car with the dog when we drove to the hiking trails. Instead of a no pet policy it should be a no pet owner policy. We followed their rules and as a result we are being called liars and being penalized for following the rules. This is not acceptable

We pride ourselves on GREAT customer service and being a Pet Free Facility. In 22 years we have charged two customers. Obviously, this is something we do not do very lightly. We would never do so unless totally warranted. After 6 hours of extensive cleaning we were left with no choice but to charge. The guests arriving that day may have had pet allergies. The information you presented above speaks clearly to the lack of regard for several of our policies including 1. Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight in a unit. One cannot decide to allow unregistered guests to assume responsibility for a cottage they did not reserve. 2. The Deluxe Cottage is Adult Only and obviously this was not abided by and finally, 3. Our No Pet Policy This is very unfortunate, hopefully other businesses do not have to encounter such. These are very difficult times all way around and we all need to be Respectful, Kind and Honest.

Very nice cottage in beautiful area. Good stay at cottage but upon returning home received an email that we would be charged for violating pet policy. We did not have a pet in the cabin.We stayed for 4 nights with many ins and outs of cabin to see a dog if we had one. After contacting the owner, she informed us that she would review the surveillance video to confirm our story, (You think she would have done that before sending the email?) after insisting the cabin smelled like dog and they swept up dog fur when we left. We waited 10 days to hear back from her but no reply so I called again. She told us her video cameras did not work so she could not confirm. She also said that she still would have charged us the $150 but she couldn’t because she didn’t have our full visa number. Great business practices from a rude owner! This ruined our stay and changed our rating from a 4.5 to less than 1. Wrongfully accused with no apology!

Our family booked a two bedroom cottage. Could not have been happier. Lovely accommodations and super clean. Definitely would recommend. Easy check in close to tablelands and trout river. Quiet and relaxing.

This is an amazing resort. Everything to your fingertips and spotless. Besides being friendly, Marilyn and Chrystal went above and beyond to assist me with a personal matter. I can’t thank them enough. Each cottage got a BBQ. There’s an area for a campfire with wood provided. A lovely get away.

Staff were friendly, helpful. Location was terrific. Accommodation was terrific. Thank you! We were treated really well. If I had one suggestion it'd be to find a quieter fan in the bathroom, but that's it. Everything else was great. Very nice grounds, and easy access to hanging out in the river within walking distance.
