Apon arriving I was greeted by the resort managers, and was made to feel like I was meeting old friends. After completing check in and all the neccasary diving paper work, they explained how the diving in the following days would happen. The accomodation was very clean and well

I recently visited the two fish resort in Lembeh. Not really being a diver I was slightly nervous about the whole experience. The resort is a short boat trip from the mainland. On arrival we were greeted by staff and dogs, all friendly and enthusiastic. Our room was a

Hi Carol, Thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough review of your stay. We are glad that you found your stay enjoyable and comfortable throughout. We will certainly pass on the compliments to the cooks, they do a great job keeping everyones energy levels up with the tasty food. Our guides work hard to make sure every customer is happy and comfortable, regardless of experience or age and I am glad they showed the same service to you to make you feel more relaxed about the whole experience. We hope to see you again, maybe with a few more dives under your belt and you can fully enjoy the wonders of the Lembeh Strait. Safe Travels, Gregor, Rachel and the entire Two Fish Team

I had a poor experience at Two Fish in Lembeh. Though I was there for a possible eight dives, I opted out after four. On each of the four, a significant peace of the equipment I was renting had to be changed. First, the entire regulator; then the BCD control had somehow come

Hi Steven, Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns, I am highly surprised to be reading about these issues as you did not mention any of this during your stay. It is a real shame you made the decision not to discuss this with us directly. At Two Fish we hold safety at upmost importance and your complaint would have been taken very seriously if had you given us the chance to resolve this. Gregor and I joined you for every meal during your stay in Lembeh and asked you about your dives daily, this gave you ample opportunity to discuss any problems with us. Gregor was the instructor who conducted your Refresher on arrival at the resort and it is a shame you felt you were unable to approach him regarding the issues you had diving. If you had told us about your equipment problems, or problem with your guide this is something we could have rectified at the time. One of us, as experienced instructors, would have offered to accompany you to help get your confidence back in the water. It seems that you were not completely honest about the reason you discontinued diving - as you told us on site that you would not do the remaining dives because your were experiencing ear problems and wanted to give them a rest before your trip to Raja Ampat. Unfortunately you did not express any of these concerns on the guest survey form you filled in at check out either. You did not write any comment on your form, and also rated your dive guide as met your expectations. You personally came to us on the morning of check out and asked us about tipping your dive guide which would usually suggest you were happy with the service received, we are sorry this was not the case. Although we regularly service our rental equipment we carry a full set of spare dive equipment on the boat for every dive and a tool kit allowing us to rectify any equipment problems before entering the water. Equipment can have faults and that is why it is vitally important to complete a pre-dive safety check before getting in the water, which as a certified diver you are responsible for. As you did not tell us about this incident we were not able to check the regulator you were using at the time. After reading your review we are in the process of inspecting your regulator. If you believed this to have been dangerous then it would have been more beneficial to have communicated this after your dive three weeks ago. We have a certified Aqualung service technician working on site who could have easily dealt with any of these fixes had you mentioned this to management during your stay. Your dive guide Rayan has been working with us for many years, has thousands of dives experience and a spotless safety record. We are sorry that you did not feel you experienced the same level of care exhibited in the past. In terms of arranging a meeting with your dive guide, you are told at orientation to arrange a time to meet them there is no set time to do logbooks as only some live on site. Our guides are more than happy to sit with customers and pour through the critter ID books showing them all of the amazing things they have seen during their day. Rayan is a little more reserved than some of our other guides and it sounds as though you have mistaken his shyness for disinterest, he is extremely knowledgeable about the Lembeh Strait and continues to blow away our returning guests that frequently request to dive with him. We would be more than happy to send you any dive information you feel you are missing or discuss this issue further with you via email. Kind Regards, Rachel & Gregor

Everything worked out well, from the transfers to the dive boats, dive guides, meals, rooms, everything! I spent two weeks touring four of the Two Fish Resorts. Safety first diving. Dive guides were a big help locating the little critters. I’ll do it all again someday!

Hi Andy, Thanks for messaging. I understand the lack of air conditioning can be cause for concern for some people. As a native Scot I also can suffer badly in the heat! However, we do have fans in every room and with a nice sea breeze it keeps the resort cool. The fan is usually sufficient but we could put another fan in the room if needed. Hope this helps! Thanks, Gregor

Hi cps66, Thanks you for your message. The staff are not allowed to mingle in the restaurant but we have taken a company decision to allow our staff to mingle with the guests in the dive center. This give the guests an experienced of the local culture and the guests an opportunity to learn. We believe that this is what sets us apart from other, more up-market resorts. I hope that we will see you at one of our resorts in the future?

Hi, In my March experience, I'm not recommend swimming. For snorkeling, during my scuba shore diving in the 15:xx - 17:xx (not experience in other time slot), I found a place is ok for snorkeling, little current, the location is: when you face to beach, walk to last (or last 2) cottage, swim straight, around 30M to 50M, here is many coral and school of fishes, just few meters deep. But, please remember pay attention of return boat. Hope it help!

Hi, I got Ow license and would like to take AWO course. Does the store offer such course?
Probably too late for you 😉, but several people completed AOW during our stay.
