Hotel's Favourite
The rooms are clean and beautiful, vaulted ceilings. The employees were very nice and helpful. The food was delicious. You have your own outdoor shower. Functional kitchen and eating area. The durt road getting to the resort is a bit narrow. If you do not get a rental, they can arrange a car to take you where you need to go. Great resort to relax, it is nice and quiet.

We just finished a 4 day trip to St. Lucia and stayed at Tet Rouge the entire time. This boutique resort is a really special place - we absolutely loved it. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious; the outdoor shower was our favorite feature along with the balcony where we enjoyed 2 of our breakfasts! We had all of our breakfasts and 2 dinners at the resort and the food was delicious! We are vegan and the staff truly accommodated our diet with Gavin himself preparing a mouth-watering tofu scramble for breakfast for us, tasting better than we ourselves have made! The service is great with very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed chatting with Gavin and Vince. Diana and Adriana promptly answered emails for weeks leading up to our trip and throughout trip to help us book taxi transfers to all the places we wanted to see or eat at, and provided helpful advice! If you are using google maps for estimates of how long it will take to get somewhere, you may want to add 15-30 min to that because of some unpaved roads, traffic, night time, etc. Our few recommendations to make Tet Rouge even more incredible would be to have 2 robes in the rooms, update the mats and umbrellas on pool chairs, have some add’l towels at pool itself that can be used to line the chairs (though staff is totally willing to give extra towels), and lastly, there is small strip of unpaved road once you turn onto street that goes to Tet Rouge that is quite bumpy so it would be great to have that paved. We would come to Tet Rouge again in a heart beat and plan to recommend it to all of our friends and family!

My fiancé and I stayed at Têt Rouge a while back and I realized I hadn't reviewed and had to come right away and do so. This place is SO wonderful. The food at the resort is excellent (also the cocktails... I still think about them, the freshest pina colada and mango cocktail ever), and the views are unparalleled. The villas themselves are gorgeous, roomy, and the balcony is the perfect place to unwind with a Piton beer (free in your fridge every day) after your Gros Piton hike and look at the vistas. This isn't your average Caribbean hotel - the fact that it contains only a handful of villas makes it quiet, private, and you get to meet the other people that are staying there. You're not going to get that annoying crowd of tourists, but instead you will get exceptional care and attention by the staff as well as meaningful conversation with locals and other hotel goers alike. Case and point, by the end of the stay Garvin, the manager on deck, had ordered us pizza and we invited him to share a slice as he told us about growing up on that part of the island and his day to day life. Also, when we got engaged at the top of the Gros Piton, the staff all came and shared a bottle of wine and congratulated us.
If you're interested in exploring other parts of the island, Garvin will ensure that you are well taken care of with guides that he knows and he will make sure you get a good price. Everything we did was a private tour with guides who waited patiently, did not rush us at all, and answered all of our questions. I remember at one point being at one waterfall and we didn't stay long, and our guide went "Really? That's it? You can stay much longer if you'd like!"
If you're looking for a cozy getaway with charm and character, wonderful people, amazing views, and the best pina colada EVER, this is the place. We are planning to go back again for sure.

We stayed at Tet Rouge for 5 nights & loved every minute we were there. We arrived into St Lucia just before sunset and the drive to the hotel (approx 40 to 45min) was mainly in the dark. Luckily we had been given instructions by the hotel how to get from the airport to the hotel & these were excellent and we had no trouble getting there. However the road up to the hotel from the main road was quite interesting to drive along especially at night. The hotel consists of 6 rooms, 2 rooms per cottage. Outside each cottage is a terrace with a hammock, chairs & table. The glass fronted room is large with a bed in the middle, sofa, low table & chairs. There are 4 steps up to a mezzanine level which includes a kitchenette, large closet and bathroom. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower, 2 wash basins & an outdoor shower. This was perfect. All the cottages are surrounded by beautiful gardens which were laid out when the complex was built. The kitchenette had a large fridge freezer which included a mini bar, a kettle and a hob but was very basic in that there were no utensils if you wanted to cook in the in. In addition the cutlery & china was also limited though there were 2 of everything you would need for a morning coffee. That didn’t matter to us at all. There is a long but not too narrow infinity pool which had wonderful views down to the sea. At one end there is the bar which has a raised step up from the pool so you can order & stand there whilst drinking your cocktail. On the other side of the bar is the small dining area where all the meals are served. Breakfast which was included consisted of 2 eggs anyway you wanted, bacon, toast & fresh fruit & was an excellent way to start the day. Because of the curfew restrictions in St Lucia which started at 7pm we normally had dinner at the hotel. Although the menu is quite small the food which we preordered around 2 pm was excellent with choices including lobster or shrimp salads, pork loin, surf n turf, rack of lamb etc. It could not be faulted and saved us driving at night into one of the nearby towns which was a definite plus. The staff, particularly Garvin, the manager, & Hilroy were exceptional — very professional but very friendly and both made our stay special. We went on a sunset cruise on the owners catamaran one evening which was the icing on the cake & recommended for any guests staying at Tet Rouge. We loved staying there and only wished we had more time

From the moment we were picked up by taxi driver Ahmed we felt welcome. Arrival was instant relaxation and a very warm welcome from Hilroy and Mike. It's not fancy, but you have everything you need to relax. Big rooms with towering ceilings, great outdoor shower, locally made furniture and sitting porches with a view of the sea forever. The gardens are a small Eden, full of flowers and hummingbirds.
The staff are wonderful. Nothing is too difficult. They all pitch in happily. Thank you to Garvin, Isha, Samantha, George, Hilroy, Mike, Quinns (sorry not sure about spelling) and to the owners who kindly took time over lunch to share some of their experiences.
The kitchen rocks. We didn't bother going out for meals because the food was so good. They were accommodating to my early diving husband's breakfast needs, booked it all for us and sorted out taxis for both business and pleasure. It's like having a personal concierge.
If I could improve a few things I would ask for better internet. Some of my time was work related and I could only really connect in the restaurant. Bed preference is personal and for me it was a little firm. A foam pad to be added or taken away would sort this easily. More pool loungers with adjustable umbrellas would be great. I know they are not quite the authentic vibe but a modern convenience.
Great vacation, total relaxation and will return.

Just back from a wonderful 11 night unwinding stay at Tet Rouge. The location (small 4x4 definitely recommended) is stunning with the Grand Piton as a back drop and every chalet looks out from a porch across the beautiful gardens to the sea and sunsets. The owners and staff are lovely with special thanks to Garvin who was particularly keen to ensure all guests are well looked after. Thank you for a memorable time.

We stayed at Tet Rouge for 3 nights in January and had a wonderful time. Our spacious and comfortable room was in front of the pool with a lovely view of the ocean (all 6 rooms have views) and big veranda where we enjoyed relaxing and watching the hummingbirds.
The resort has a restaurant next to the pool that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. The food is very good by any standard, although quite expensive. Entrees are generally around $30-$50 and the menu does not change from day to day. We had the ceviche every night as an app and it was to die for. The lunch burger was so so good. The drinks are also phenomenal and in my opinion very reasonable. The bartender can make you anything you want and expect a strong pour!
The staff at Tet Rouge is maybe the best part. Everyone is friendly, super well trained, and generally delightful. We felt very well taken care of.
Other reviews have mentioned this but this is a *VERY* small resort and there's nothing to do other than relax. However, if you don't have any activities planned the staff are happy to help you arrange tours and they have their own contracted drivers that will take you anywhere you wish. We did not rent a car and do not regret it because the roads around this part of the island are terrifying - best leave it to the experts. We spent 2 of our days simply relaxing and the 3rd we went to Project Chocolat for their Vine to Bar tour/experience (I think that's what it was called) which was great fun. But we always returned for dinner because this is a very quiet area and it's not really worth it to drive 20-30 minutes each way to go somewhere else.
Overall, we had a great time and glad that we picked Tet Rouge!

My wife and I spent 6 wonderful days at Tet Rouge in Saint Lucia. The suit was large, beautifully appointed, enjoyed a lot the outdoor shower next to the full bathroom The views from the suit were spectacular. Besides the breakfast that was included, the dinner menu is delicious with fresh, local products and a nice variety of fine wines. The entire staff was professional and friendly. The owners were very helpful with lots of tips on what to explore on the island, including arranging for guides when needed. The on-site car rental was a nice touch. A quiet beach with calm water is only minutes away. This is a unique place that offers seclusion, calmness and opportunities for adventure. Can't wait to return.

I loved my stay at Tet Rouge. It is as good a hotel as I have ever experienced. It's romantic. It's private. The views are beautiful. The infinity pool is cool and fresh . The rooms are lovely. The food is great. Homemade tamarind juice for breakfast. When I asked for mango, they picked purple mangoes from their trees. When I ordered margarita cocktails, they picked the limes fresh. The staff were helpful, connected and interesting. Our hosts were charming. I can't recommend Tet Rouge highly enough.

My husband and I came here for a well needed vacation and stayed for seven nights. Our villa was gorgeous, with 5 star views of the sunset and stars every night. Staff were so friendly, helpful, and personable. The outdoor shower was my favorite and used it every day. We ate at the resort most days since the taxi service was $50 round trip for most places. Food and cocktails were delicious! I loved the massage from Maria so much that I got a second one done the day before leaving! Gavin helped us coordinate excursions, our favorite one being the Catamaran with snorkeling with only two other couples for a very reasonable price! Roulan drove us around everywhere and he's just so kind and personable. We really enjoyed his company! Claudius also went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The staff are all very hard working and made our experience there a 5 star experience. Our trip was the last week of February, and it's now been five days since coming back and I wake up thinking every morning about the wonderful staff/guests we had the pleasure of getting to know at the resort. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately no pets are allowed at the resort.
Anse L'Ivrogne beach is 20 minutes walking distance from Tet Rouge.
Also Sugar beach and Anse Chastanet are located very close to us, driving distance 10 to 20 minutes. You can have drinks and dinner to any of these beaches (all beaches in St Lucia are public). There is parking to all these beaches, however for Anse L'Ivrogne you can park your car up the hill and take a walk down to the beach.

Washington DC, District of Columbia15 contributions2 helpful votesWe will be staying at Tet Rouge in 2 weeks. What's the best currency to use in the Soufriere region? US dollars, Easter Caribbean or should we plan to have both?
You can use US dollars for everything. If you need cash from an ATM, it will dispense EC dollars which are also accepted everywhere. In hindsight, I would have brought more US$ cash since that seems to be preferred way to pay for many services and small biz.

Washington DC, District of Columbia15 contributions2 helpful votesHello, can you recommend a taxi service from Tet Rouge for outings to various places around La Pointe and Soufrière? We would rather pay a driver than rent a car. Thanks.
I recommend Martin. My husband and I rented a small suv from him and it was so convenient as we drove to beaches and activities. so contact him through the resort. It will be worth it.
Hi,
Prices are subject to change of course, but current prices are USD 15.25 for a full breakfast, while dinner entrees typically range from USD 25 to USD 35. There are also a couple of simple local restaurant/bars within walking distance and a number of restaurants within a 15-25 minute drive. More bars and restaurants are available in Soufriere town, which is about a 25 minute drive.
