To say Tet Rouge is a hidden gem is an understatement. It’s representing the Caribbean life at its core. The rooms are so romantic and cozy, the food is fantastic (omg, the fruits grow all over the place…) the location is surreal, and the folks working there are extremely friendly. Being on the small side is an advantage as guests are treated like close family. By no means this is a commercial business; its one that embraces the local culture, surrounds you with the typical life treats so unique when living by the sea. The views are out of this world, and when you descend on the beach, you are, indeed, on another planet, feeling like a Hollywood celeb, owing your very own piece of sand (white, black, your pick..). I mean where else do you get an unaltered beach, by a tropical forest, with a Piton as the back drop! A truly unique experience… Go visit, and you will not regret your decision. The only “bad” is that you will not want to leave from there any more. :-)…
My husband and I came here for a well needed vacation and stayed for seven nights. Our villa was gorgeous, with 5 star views of the sunset and stars every night. Staff were so friendly, helpful, and personable. The outdoor shower was my favorite and used it every day. We ate at the resort most days since the taxi service was $50 round trip for most places. Food and cocktails were delicious! I loved the massage from Maria so much that I got a second one done the day before leaving! Gavin helped us coordinate excursions, our favorite one being the Catamaran with snorkeling with only two other couples for a very reasonable price! Roulan drove us around everywhere and he's just so kind and personable. We really enjoyed his company! Claudius also went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The staff are all very hard working and made our experience there a 5 star experience. Our trip was the last week of February, and it's now been five days since coming back and I wake up thinking every morning about the wonderful staff/guests we had the pleasure of getting to know at the resort. We will definitely be back!…
My husband and I came here for our second part of our honeymoon and I’m so glad we did! Tet Rouge is secluded, private and has spectacular views. The resort only has 6 units on the grounds. Nice to enjoy conversations with the other guests. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive. Hilroy makes the best drinks on the island!!! Galvin, Samantha, George were amazing with making sure we were taken care of with things to do, food and honestly anything needed. Taxi/Shuttle drivers Martin and Roland were awesome! We had some great laughs on the drives, even found out how the locals named the resort. Honestly, a great story! You tell Mr.Martin and Roland when you want to go and where and they will make it happen. Tet Rouge provides you access to the beach that’s like a 10 min drive as a “shuttle service” . Maria the masseuse is a MUST!!! No regrets! OMG and we did the sunset cruise on the catamaran- WOW! We saw 8 sunsets and by far this was our favorite. The food was sooooo good! The rum punch AMAZING- made by Hikroy. We even chatted with the owners and they are extremely incredible people- the humbleness resonated through them. We will be back!…
Thank you to everyone at Tet Rouge for a simply wonderful stay. We were looked after beautifully and felt utterly spoilt. We had plans to eat elsewhere during our three day stay but the food and cocktails were so delicious we couldn’t bring ourselves to go elsewhere. We did venture out once for a combined snorkelling trip and sunset cruise. Heaven. Wish we were still there.
From Heroy and Quint and George to Maria the beautiful woman who did my massage and Marc that we met on drunken Bay. The rooms were clean and beautiful, the views breath taking, the food delicious and the drinks even better. It’s doesn’t get any better. Èvèk lanmou
We loved each and every minute of our 6 night stay at Tet Rouge. The staff is outstanding, to a person. Friendly, inviting, authentic and know how to be helpful without standing on top of you. During our stay, we found that many of the other guests were very open to conversation, joining for ad hoc activities, dining together, having drinks, etc. A social environment but also easy to be reserved and private if that's not what you're seeking. The location is very good in terms of nightly sunset vistas and walkable to a beach if you're not feeling up for a longer car ride (which is par-for-the-course anywhere in this region). And if you are interested in hiking one (Gros) or both (bonus!) of the Pitons, it's very easy to get to each…along with the other big attractions in the area. The food, drinks, etc. are all quite good without being overly fussy or fancy. Very good value for what you're spending and excellent options when you're not up for a bigger night out at one of the top-tier places (e.g. Dasheen) in the area. Pound-for-pound, Tet Rouge gets top marks from us for being a small, friendly place that makes it very easy to relax and get away from your day-to-day cares for a few days. Highly recommended.…
We stayed at Tet Rouge for a week. Staff was phenomenal, food excellent, great ambiance. The resort is very well located, near many beautiful beaches, hiking possibilities, snorkeling. Gavin organized a great catamaran sunset cruise for us, which was amazing. It was just a fantastic experience for us and we loved every minute of it. Pictures on the website are a very good representation of the hotel, we highly recommend Tet Rouge!
We stayed at Tet Rouge for 5 nights & loved every minute we were there. We arrived into St Lucia just before sunset and the drive to the hotel (approx 40 to 45min) was mainly in the dark. Luckily we had been given instructions by the hotel how to get from the airport to the hotel & these were excellent and we had no trouble getting there. However the road up to the hotel from the main road was quite interesting to drive along especially at night. The hotel consists of 6 rooms, 2 rooms per cottage. Outside each cottage is a terrace with a hammock, chairs & table. The glass fronted room is large with a bed in the middle, sofa, low table & chairs. There are 4 steps up to a mezzanine level which includes a kitchenette, large closet and bathroom. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower, 2 wash basins & an outdoor shower. This was perfect. All the cottages are surrounded by beautiful gardens which were laid out when the complex was built. The kitchenette had a large fridge freezer which included a mini bar, a kettle and a hob but was very basic in that there were no utensils if you wanted to cook in the in. In addition the cutlery & china was also limited though there were 2 of everything you would need for a morning coffee. That didn’t matter to us at all. There is a long but not too narrow infinity pool which had wonderful views down to the sea. At one end there is the bar which has a raised step up from the pool so you can order & stand there whilst drinking your cocktail. On the other side of the bar is the small dining area where all the meals are served. Breakfast which was included consisted of 2 eggs anyway you wanted, bacon, toast & fresh fruit & was an excellent way to start the day. Because of the curfew restrictions in St Lucia which started at 7pm we normally had dinner at the hotel. Although the menu is quite small the food which we preordered around 2 pm was excellent with choices including lobster or shrimp salads, pork loin, surf n turf, rack of lamb etc. It could not be faulted and saved us driving at night into one of the nearby towns which was a definite plus. The staff, particularly Garvin, the manager, & Hilroy were exceptional — very professional but very friendly and both made our stay special. We went on a sunset cruise on the owners catamaran one evening which was the icing on the cake & recommended for any guests staying at Tet Rouge. We loved staying there and only wished we had more time…
We can't say enough about our recent stay at Tet Rouge! It looks exactly like the photos. Large beautiful room overlooking the Caribbean Ocean. While you can find beautiful rooms and view many places, what makes Tet Rouge stand out are the people. We did not want a huge resort feel where you are a name and a number. At Tet Rouge, there are only 6 suites and the service is perfect. The staff are such friendly people. We learned most of them by name and loved getting to know them. Garvin, the Property Manager will help you with excursions, book rides, etc. He knows everyone in the area and arranged trips for us that were less expensive than we would have paid through booking companies. We also booked a private dining experience on our last evening. It is great for honeymooners or a romantic occasion. Roads are narrow and windy so I would NOT rent a car. However, the drivers Tet Rouge uses were amazing and well worth every penny. You cannot go wrong here!!!! We will definitely go back! I miss the hammock already.…
We loved everything about the hotel. The location, the stuff, the food and the availability of the owners to help us have a great vacation! We enjoyed the spacious villas, the variety of wines ( french as well 😀) the discreet but prompt staff and the food was always fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the hotel to couples and travelers looking for a boutique hotel!
