Exceptional experience from arrival to departure at Regent Porto Montenegro hotel during our 4 nights stay. We had booked through Jet2 indulgent escape and our holiday certainly lived up to that description. We have just arrived back home.
On arrival we were upgraded to a suite room 217 with Mountain View and not only that we were able to get our room in the morning as soon as we arrived which was much earlier than the check-in time at no extra cost which was absolutely amazing!
Hotel is not far from the airport it’s only 10 minutes drive which was so very convenient. Location is stunning as it faces the Marina with beautiful yachts and it has some high end shops in the area. There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel.
The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. Facilities at the spa were perfect especially at this time of the year - end October where the outside pool water was cold. We will have to come back in summer as the outside pools looked amazing. Breakfast had a good variety & very quickly salmon Benedict became my favourite. Shivangi (hope I got the name right) at breakfast was brilliant. Every morning she greeted us with a smile which was a great way to start our day. We had dinner at their Murano restaurant on the last day and the food was delicious & our waiter was polite & very efficient. Water bottles were provided in the rooms morning and evening with no extra cost. They had tea and coffee facilities in the room. They also had a turn down service every night which is rare nowadays.
Overall we had a fantastic time at this hotel and I would highly recommend staying here.

At the conclusion of our touring Slovenia, Croatia, and Montenegro, we both concluded that our favorite hotel was Regent Porto Montenegro. Everything was perfect. The reception desk welcoming and helpful on several occasions. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, with a nice view of the garden and harbor. We combined the ample buffet and varied menu at breakfast for a wonderful start to each day. The truffle eggs became an instant favorite of mine. My spouse took advantage of the spa and had a most relaxing massage. Our dinner at the hotel's Murano Restaurant was truly memorable. Our server Ivanna was friendly, attentive, and downright charming. The sole and sea bass steak were the best seafood we had on our trip. I can't say enough good things about Regent Porto Montenegro!

Great property with great service! We stayed for 3 nights in the Jr. Suite w/ balcony and it was very modern with great views of pool and harbor.
We used their concierge services frequently and they never failed. We hired their hotel car for all transfers even to Dubrovnik. Although very pricey at 250EU one way, it was worth it so we did not have to deal w/ trying to figure out the car ferry and border crossing. The property was also a short 10-min ride from Tivat airport and it was 35EU for the hotel car. We also asked for recommendations for dining and were referred to a great Italian resto a few steps away.
The breakfast buffet (included in our rate) had a variety of hot and cold items and you could also order off a one page menu of their specialties. There was also a variety of juices offered and coffees you can order. Service was great.
The same restaurant was open for dinner and we did not like the options so opted for dinner outside of the restaurant.
The property was well located within walking distance to many restaurants and high end boutiques. We ate outside of the property daily w/ the exception of breakfast.
The gym was very small but we made due with what was offered. There was a separate room for cardio w/ about 2-3 treads and the other room for free weights and weight machines.
The layout of the entire property was a bit confusing. We did not use the pools since it was very cold during our visit. We came here for a wedding so we did not have much time to venture outside of the property. The spa did not have availability at least 2 days before my request so I suggest making a reservation many days in advance. However, the Concierge was able to find a spa within walking distance that did offer massages.
All-in-all this property was great for what we needed and would return.

Overall, this hotel fulfills everything that makes a real 5-star hotel:
- Exposed location in the marina of Montenegro - Very courteous, friendly staff - A great breakfast buffet. I really liked the fact that you could find smaller plates, bowls, chafings at the buffet, but they were always filled up fresh on a regular basis. So class instead of mass! - A very nice experience to sit here on the terrace on the marina promenade and enjoy breakfast including competent service. - Thank you also for the small room upgrade overlooking the harbour. - A very nice hotel pool with great views and nice service.
What did not like so much were the following points: - The mattress in the room was not just soft, but completely sagged. You couldn't find sleep on it. This is the basic need as a hotel guest and it is essential to pay attention to this. The mattress was replaced by a board?! From hardness -1 to 5+, if it exists at all. In the end, we found that it was just put upside down and turned it around ourselves. After the 3. Night to finally think about sleep:
- The personal welcome in the room was addressed to another hotel guest. The housekeeping was very good at times, but also rather bad.
- The showers in the spa area (main area as well as in the ladies locker room) were both broken throughout the week. Hotel guests wandered directly from the sauna without showering into the whirlpool and indoor pool.

A true 5 star experience from the moment that we stepped into the door. The reception staff were friendly and efficient and the voucher for 2 free cocktails was most welcome.
On arrival at the room we were greeted with a large spacious room with bed, settee and a massive bathroom with separate bath and shower (even bath salts!). Ample storage space for clothes and shoes too.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff can’t do enough to help. The pool area was gorgeous, infinity pool looking out over the harbour and all the amazing yatchs. Waiter service around the pool most welcome. Be aware that if you leave your sunbed for more than 30mins, they will remove your things.
Breakfast room is beautiful, indoor and outdoor space. Good choice of food and very attentive staff.
Would wholly recommend.

Stayed for 3 nights at the end of September as a luxury end of year getaway, this hotel does not disappoint in either quality or oppulance. The hotel is only a 10 minute drive from Tivat airport (which is very small so be warned). It rests on the port overlooking beautiful waters and billionaire oligarch yachts.
The entire area is new, with Riverside harbour boardwalks which stretches north of the hotel all the way south....and expanding. Here in the well guarded and security concious area (owing to its clientele) and importantly it's luxury shops. There isnt a store lower than a Rolex shop so that should give you an idea. No end of restaurants and bars for pleasant evening walks.
The staff are fantastic and truly attentive, check in was easy and no obligatory credit card taking either which was refreshing. The hotel is actually several buildings, so to our room we had to elevator up 1 floor, go across the "bridge of sighs" to get to the next building, then up four floors.
This is important as the spa and gym are in that one, and across the pool is another building which along with the residential building behind is all part of the same hotel.
The room was enormous with a clever double door mirrored bathroom with double sinks and the largest rainfall shower I've ever used. Wardrobe with safe and mini bar and tea/coffee station. Large bed with yet more wardrobe space either side and TV with info channel and desk. Hairdryer and water and High end toiletries are included.
The pool area is large with several sections depending on preferences and a very much approved half hour towel slot, meaning no sunbed hoggers allowed.
Breakfast is varied and caters for all dietary needs with a menu for orders also.
From poolside to restaurant I can't praise this hotel enough for it's high end delivery of customer service and just look at the photos and let them do the talking...

We have just returned home (boo!) from a wonderful week at the Regent Porto Montenegro and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Everything about the hotel was fantastic: location, service, comfort and facilities.
We stayed in a premium room with a sea view which was delightful, with a balcony overlooking the harbour the attractive rear of the hotel. The room was a terrific size, with plenty of room for storage. It was spotless, fresh and modern, with the best shower I've ever used in a hotel. The soundproofing in the room was also excellent - there was no noise from the corridors or neighbouring rooms.
The communal areas are all beautifully decorated and pleasant to relax in. The spa area is nice, with steam room and sauna, along with a refreshingly cool indoor pool. Towels are provided.
The outdoor pool area is lovely: lots of loungers and different areas around the pools. The water was a lovely temperature to swim, relax and look out to the bay from the infinity pool. The pool bar has a good range of drinks and food, with typically excellent service.
Breakfast was a pleasure to enjoy each day in Murano restaurant, which I've also reviewed separately. There is a great choice of hot and cold food, both from the buffet and a la carte menu - the salmon benedict in particular is delicious (I swapped the salmon for ham, which was also great). The staff offer an incredibly warm and friendly welcome at breakfast - Marko and Shivangi were amazing and such a great credit to the hotel: nothing was ever too much trouble for them and they really care about making sure you have a great experience.
We also ate dinner at the restaurant on a couple of occasions and the food and service was outstanding then as well. I recommend the lamb, the cod roulade and the filet mignon - all superbly cooked and presented.
The location of the hotel is fantastic - right by the water with a wide range of high quality restaurants on the doorstep and a supermarket just a couple of moments walk away. It is very close to the airport as well but do give yourself a bit of time for the transfer as the traffic can get quite heavy.
Overall, we had a fantastic week at the hotel and were really sad to leave. I would recommend staying here without hesitation and hope to return soon. Huge thanks to the wonderful staff at Regent Porto Montenegro for making our stay so special.

Nice pool and lovely willing staff but these are the things I mentioned when asked in an IHG survey what could be improved about our stay!: Room cleaned without us having to chase for it (the room wasn't cleaned until 4/5pm most days and even then only because we rang down to ask for it to be done!), room better cleaned - our bed was very badly made with the bottom sheet not smoothed out at all (see photos)! replacement of tea bags every day, an indoor bar with air conditioning, up to date spa, spa changing rooms that worked, much better service from the staff - there were several times both with pool staff and with breakfast staff that they either forgot our order, or were very late delivering it. Decaffeinated coffee at breakfast was like dishwater until I asked for a double shot, then it was fine. No one knew how to make tea (you can't deliver warm water with a tea bag on the side - tea needs to be made with nearly boiling water). In addition we found the room decor dated - dark heavy wood, and the spa needs an update - very old fashioned and the 1 shower in the ladies changing room didn't work. Also didn't have air conditioning so was hot and humid. Bathroom lighting in the room was difficult to work out (different modes depending on quickly or slowly pressing the switch) and we couldn't get enough light in it.

When booking the hotel, we were sold by the views in the photos and we were not disappointed. The hotel is set overlooking the port but the mountain background is stunning. We were not able to book a sea view but had a lovely room with views of the mountain. On arrival in our room, we were greeted by wine and macarons and on the morning of our anniversary, a bottle of Prosecco and delicious cake were brought to our table (before the cake was taken to our room for later). The staff cannot be more helpful and concierge team are always willing to help. They organised a transfer to the airport when we realised that the pre booked transfer would not leave enough time got the boarder crossing to Dubrovnik. When travelling in the summer, it is definitely worth being aware of the potential for long queues to cross the boarder between Croatia and Montenegro. The hotel offers 5 star touches and it was always lovely to be greeted by a treat with their turn down service. Artisan chocolates and other surprises met us each evening. This is a great location and you are surrounded by different restaurants, which compliment those available in the hotel. The team around the pool are helpful and efficient. I would never tire of the views in Porto Montenegro and would love to return in the future.

I would give this 4.5 stars if that were an option. I stayed for 2 nights in October 2023 and had an overall good experience. The property itself is gorgeous - the common areas are luxurious & staff is very accommodating. The rooms are HUGE (not sure if this is common across all rooms, but mine was a 2 story room with a full kitchen, living room area, and a lofted bedroom overlooking those below). The rooms have a nautical theme which is cute, but the room felt a bit outdated. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the room build-out & furnishings felt a bit outdated and not as luxurious as the rest of the overall property, and for the price it felt steep for a room such as that (I wouldn't call the room 5-stars, although very nice and - like I said - extremely large & comfortable). The pool area gives super fancy vibes & the views off that deck of the marina w/ the mountains are breath-taking....cocktails at the pool are steep, but delicious (and again, prices consistent w/ other high end hotels). There's not a ton to do in the area, but the bellmen are helpful in securing a taxi. Complimentary breakfast was a perk.
