Certificate of Excellence
Safari Desert Camp is a permanent Bedouin style camp which was opened in September 2008. It is located in a remote, quiet desert landscape of the Wahiba Sands, 25km away from Al-Ghabbi, in the city of Bidiyah. Forty challets are widely scattered on the sands, and each are well equipped with authentic carpets, luxury beds and bedding and much more. For our guests' comfort, we use our own 4wd and highly trained camels ensuring complete reliability.

We spent one night here. Our house was clean and cute, staff was nice and food was good. The bathroom is good enough to do what you need to do. You don't need much more when you are in the desert - the main luxury are the views! I recommend you get up early and walk past the firs

We visited this wonderful desert camp during our recent trip to Oman. We were met & escorted by a guide to the camp in the afternoon. When we arrived at the camp, we were greeted so warmly & served a welcome tea & dates. We set out in our vehicle with a guide in front to drive

Hello Sirs, we are interested to stay in Safari Desert Camp. We are coming to to Oman soon. However we are not sure if we have rented the car that will be appropriate to reach the camp, as we cannot define the road and its conditions. We a have hired Toyota Yaris Sedan, may anyone advise if that will be fine to reach to the destination? If not, is there any chance we may be taken from the nearest city by a transport from the camp? and this way we will be able to sleep at the desert :) would appreciate your advises in that matter,
Dear Maya sedan would'nt work to reach us , you need a 4x4 SUV car to reach us, we are 25 km inside the wahiba desert , but we offer also transportation from Bediyah city for 40 OMR for up and down transfer

Hi we are a family of 4 people traveling from Wadi Bani Khalid, with a 4*4. We would like to know how to arrive to the camp, how to find a driver and its price. Many thx in advance Laurence
