My only request is to properly disinfect the rooms with pesticides since it is a forest area.Otherwise nothing to complain about

Had been to the resort for a family get-together. Had a very good time. Staff were very helpful and warm to make your stay comfortable. We had arranged for a private dinner, arrangement was too good, quality and taste of food was much better than that offered during buffet. Little bit pricey for value for money, food variety can be improved on buffet, Quality of food was good. Swimming pool water can be made temperature controlled to be used during winter also. Activities for kids were not conducted as per schedule. Otherwise had an excellent stay.. Cherish the stay !!

Me and my family stayed for 3 nights ( 30th Sep, 1st & 2nd Oct 2021 ) at Sterling Anaikatti. I felt I should share some feedback.......
The moment we checked into the room Mr Barun Nayak ( RM) met us in person, welcomed us and briefed us about the entire resort and sightseeing around Anaikatti. We did not expect a Resort Manager to come and meet us? In fact this is the first Resort we experienced this personal interaction. What was most surprising is that the Resort is covered with extraordinary greenery and foliage yet the pathways and surroundings are always clean? I did notice one male HK staff member ( slightly heavier built) constantly cleaning the open areas from early morning until late evening. He was even busy cleaning the open areas when it was raining? Room boys were constantly running around and cleaning rooms. Irrespective of the timing or rains these guys were at our door steps to supply the tea/coffee sachets with just one phone call! My daughter and I got caught in the heavy rain around 08.00pm in the evening and we took shelter in the security entrance ( exit gate). The security guard did something extraordinary, he gave my daughter his chair to sit down. We refused the gesture and were standing. Surprisingly he also did not sit down and stood along with us for no less than half an hour until we left ! He was actually giving respect to us which was not needed ! My respect to him for this extraordinary gesture...... On the 3rd night we were too lazy to go to the restaurant for Dinner and were not very hungry since the lunch buffet was so good that we over ate! However, we wanted to eat some sort of snacks before sleeping. The restaurant staff ensured the soup and fish fry was delivered to our room within half an hour. I am aware that it is not a normal practice but an exception was made. We sat on the balcony overlooking the river stream and had our Dinner. This was an extraordinary experience which we can never forget! The process of sanitization and temperature check for all visitors gave us a huge confidence. We immediately knew that we were entering a well maintained and well managed Resort. We have taken with us some wonderful and extraordinary memories of our stay at Sterling Anaikatti. It was only possible because of a wonderful and dedicated team at the Resort. Our heartfelt gratitude to Mr Barun and his team to actually make our stay memorable. They deserve to be appreciated.

Not worthy for the money you spend. I requested prior for easily accessible rooms as we had kids and old people with us. They gave room on first floor. Frequent power disruption, dth was not working and they had only free channels. They don't allow people with cotton dress into swimming pool saying it will react with chlorine water and tried to make us buy their swim suits which are too costly for their quality. When we said we don't need those just to spend an hour in the pool, they bargained to reduce the cost and make us buy it. But they let people with cotton dress to enter pool in the morning. Food totally not worth the price, buffets lacks variety and Al Carta menu is too pricy which excludes 18% tax ??? They said food in resorts are charged as such. They even charged service charge 10% which I noticed and asked them to remove which settlement. Very bad. Totally not an exciting stay but the place is calm and clean.

We chose this property for a family weekend get away in April 2022. Two days before arrival, we got a call from the property and the lady reminded us about the pool rules, especially about the appropriate swimwear (she clearly insisted on no cotton clothings). Upon arrival, we saw many wearing cotton clothing, women in chudidhar, men in cotton shorts and t shirts. When we approached the reception, they claimed some guest didn’t know, so they seemed not to apply the rules. We felt taken for a ride. Calling us and treating us like idiots and then they don’t care about people who break their rules. On top of it, they add chlorine powder every evening into the water (is the only way to treat the pool water?) everybody was complaining that their eyes were burning. Never been to a pool with this experience ! The food at the buffet was terrible. Often empty dishes, refill took so long. The service was bad too. Will not choose this place again nor will I recommend to anyone.

Having been to most of the Sterling properties, this was our first visit to Anaikatti - we couldn't have asked for a better experience with family and kids! The entire property is covered with canopy of coconut trees! Safety precautions were to the point amidst this pandemic. Staff - in reception, restaurant and holiday activities - were more than willing to assist us whatever and whenever we needed something. Swimming pool was a hit among kids. We visited the point where rivers Bhavani and Siruvani meet after a brief walk alongside the river bank and had a cool bath in clear waters! One of the most unforgettable getaways!

This resort is part of a large chain and charges 5 star prices however too many things are just not right. No WiFi in the rooms, stained bath towel, only 3 'loungers' by the pool are examples. Some of the staff were excellent and the breakfast/evening buffet was delicious. It's not a bad place to stay, however in our month in Kerala this has been the most disappointing experience.

We stayed as a family group for a week here. Everyone including their GM Mr. Ajit Kumar, Front Office Manager Manikandan, staff members etc were very supportive and friendly in nature. Our rooms were overlooking Siruvani river and was a nice experience of sleeping hearing the sound of water flowing down there. We will recommend this resort to all families because of their service and hospitality

We went to Sterling Aanakatti for a pleasure trip. The environment and ambience was well above our expectations.
The Restuarant staff Ajeesh and Amal treated us very well. We have to mention Ajeesh specifically for the dedication and commitment shown towards his job and customer approach. We found these two staff running all around everytime with much enthusiasm serving all the customers in time. The food was delicious even though there were less options for Vegetarians.
Few things to be rectified - Overall staff behavior (except the restaurant staff mentioned earlier) towards the customers could be slightly improved even though they are all nice. The atmosphere near the Classic rooms where we stayed near the river had an unpleasant odour (from the drainage/sewage line). Please fix it immediately.
If we ever visit the place again, it would be very much because of Mr. Ajeesh for his hospitality. He deserves a huge appreciation.
We enjoyed a lot here. Looking forward to a revisit.

We decided to go on a group trip to someplace after lockdown. Finally selected this sterling anaikatti. It was a wise decision with the help of sterling booking and planner team. We were 5 family, booked 6 rooms along with breakfast, lunch and dinner combo as I was advised. Again a wise advise by Subhra Banerjee. We started from Chennai and took a flight to Coimbatore and we booked a tempo traveller from Coimbatore to Anaikatti and kept the tempo for our entire stay, it was also a wise decision. Before reaching we talked to resort manager Mr Barun Nayak and requested to allocate us room together, we are grateful to him for the rooms he provided us, it was the main reason of our trip was so successful. We had enough space and arrangements to seat entire team together and enjoy till we get tired and sleep on the chair itself 😀. View from all the rooms were awesome. Barun provided us everything we needed and never had to remind him twice. He was always concerned, on the day we reached - we were delayed but he did not forget to call us and prepared to serve us.
Restaurant team also was awesome, there were multiple instances where they provided customised food for our kids and allowed us to pack food for the sleeping kids. They provided us fish curry as a token of love before the day we checked out. They deserve 👏👏👏 for their service.
We mostly spent our time inside resort and we made small trips to nearby places. There are plenty of places where you can enjoy nature.
Final day was bit emotional, most of us wanted to stay back for one more day but we could not do due to flight. There were lot of plant lover in our group, they had good discussion with Barun and team regarding plants and we did not forget to exchange some plants.
Everything in this trip was rightfully spiced and will be there in our memory forever, some of us are yet to come out this hangover.
What could have been better? I feel parking lot can be improved.
I would like to thank Sterling for giving us personal touch wherever possible and we felt special, keep up the good service. Hope our path will cross again.
