The Hilton At Resorts World Bimini receives mixed feedback from guests. While the spacious rooms and breathtaking views are often appreciated, some visitors have experienced issues with room cleanliness, maintenance, and air conditioning. Despite the property being well-kept, with commendable cleanliness and appealing amenities such as the beach club, criticisms arise over closures and unexpected fees.
The hotel's food and services are considered overpriced by several reviewers, affecting the perceived value. Service quality varies, with some staff members receiving praise for their attentiveness, whereas others are described as unprofessional. Lastly, the vibrant atmosphere is marred for some by the loud music at the beach club and adult pool.

Detailed Reviews
We came expecting Hilton quality, although it looks very nice and modern they have a long way to go with service expectations. One room was missing shower doors, had to take cold showers and 2 nights the water pressure was low and no hot water and kept being told they are working on it, everything we had an issue with we were told “we are aware” the hot tub was under construction and the pools were not heated and water was ice cold. Food was extremely overpriced in the hotel ($25 for breakfast!) Compared to local food. Location was amazing the people on the island were very nice and friendly, very humble and sweet and the scenery was just spectacular. The ferry was extremely disorganized, extreme lack of communication and customs took forever a 3 hr trip turned into 5hrs and no one knew anything. Would do it again but will further research my options hotel and transportation wise

We were there from Christmas day through January 2. We found out while there that the facility would be closing on January 2 for maintenance. We only found out on Jan 1 that the hotel ferry would not be operating and we would have to make our own arangements to leave,
Service really needs to be upgraded there. The meals in their restaurants are pricey, mediocre quality and service can be very slow. Room upkeep was spotty as well, where almost daily we needed to call about an issue (like missing toilet paper, no coffee supplies and the nightly visit from ants that appeared pn our nightstands.

Hilton Bimini - modern hotel on a small island with a jamming casino. Love the DJ spinning. You can rent a golf cart and go with the wind in your hair all over the island (on the left side) Locals and staff are friendly beyond all expectation. Keep an open mind.... this is not Nassau. It is small and quaint and could use a little cleanup downtown on the streets but overall it is what it is and the water is gorgeous and the island is FUN!

Resorts World is the perfect weekend getaway for the traveler who wants everything within reach. We arrived in the AM via plane and knew we wouldn’t be able to check in until 4 pm so we hopped on the trolley and toured the property. Anise at check in made sure everyone was taken care of- she was wonder woman at the front desk!
The beach club was also a perfect all inclusive experience. We had a cabana by the pool and even during the rainstorm Marlin was making sure we had a great time!
Food options are limited so we ate at the Tides for two nights. Both times, the hostess Shelly made sure everyone was seated in a timely manner and the food was really great!
The small casino is perfect for the casual gambler. Everyone cheered for everyone and the limits are set to meet everyone’s needs.
Things to know: This is a resort that is on a small island supported by cruise ships. Be prepared for crowds at certain times of the day or in locations when they are in port.
If you want to go visit the local towns- get a golf cart. Make sure you have your towels before you leave the resort- it’s just easier.
Overall- 2 or 3 day quick vacation at Resorts World is perfect!

Much better locations for the money. Minimal things to do, tax and resort fee you to death. Menu's are very limited, food is fair quality but nothing special. Outside the resort, which is a must as there is very little to do on the resort itself if very dirty, beaches are filthy but has a lot of potential if the local government would do something about it. I understand it is a remote location with minimal infrastructure, but cleanliness just takes manpower effort, not a whole lot of money. Although the locals are proud of their island and very kind and happy people, the cleanliness of the island is in very poor shape unfortunately.

My husband and I decided we needed a break and found this Gem in Bimini. This was the first time in Bimini. We’ve been to Nassau and Freeport many times before and loved it. We flew in and was surprised that after arriving we would be shuttled via water ferry to the resort. Everything about this hotel is Fantastic! From the beautiful lobby and decor to the amazing staff that helped us check-in to all the waiters and staff every morning at breakfast. It rained one of the days on the island so we used that time to visit the Spa. Prices were reasonable and the staff was excellent. The next day we took the free shuttle to the beach. The water is Beautiful!! The beach is kind of deserted and the HUGE seashells washed on shore was amazing to see! We came to Bimini to relax so not having the beach crowded with people was exactly what we were looking for. We carried our own bottle and only purchased ice and cups at the beach. The next day we wanted to venture around the island so we negotiated a golf cart for 8 hrs for $50. It was perfect! We had lunch and found all the locals to be very friendly. We also followed a sign to another beach which was also as breathtaking as the one near the Hilton. We’re Diamond members so we had a full buffet breakfast complimentary. We didn’t eat any other meals on the property. The food places off the resort were tasty and more than 50% cheaper. The Casino on the property was also a nice addition to the Hilton. It had plenty of tables and slots to keep you busy if you enjoy that kind of fun. I won a little and decided to cash out while I was ahead. Drinks are complimentary in the Casino. Overall I think Bimini is another Great Bahamian Island and I would definitely return again!

As Hilton member we picked this Hilton to have a great experience in which we did not . The service was horrible we checked in on June 27th at 4pm and the room was not ready and they did not seem to care . They said it wasn’t there fault and that IT may be ready by 6Pm but not Guaranteed. I was traveling with my husband and 2 children and we were extremely tired and they did not care . I asked to speak to the supervisor (Tanisha ) waited 20 mins because she was in the bathroom and she responded no better than the staff . Then I said I was going to contact cooperate office and she said no problem go right ahead. The room they gane us had no water pressure the night stand in the room was falling off the wall . They came the next day to clean the room then never showed up again when I asked why they said I have to request service but that was never asked or explained at time of check in . We are at the sushi restaurant and after they sat us they removed us because they has a party of 14 and when I requested the manager he said oh he didn’t realized they sat us down and then sat us again . Service was not HILTON quality by no means and I am very disappointed. They Should not be representing the Hilton brand . I would never go back there again . I have pics as well

My Wife and I went to Bimini in early Feb. 2020 specifically to do the Hammerhead Shark Dive with Neal Watson. That was amazing, but its also a different review. I will start by stating the obvious. This is a really nice resort. Large, new, and clean. The room was really nice and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. That's about where the good comments end. Pretty much everything else was disappointing. The only pool on the entire property that was open, was the infinity pool on the fifth floor. It was so cold that no one ever went in it. All five hot tubs were drained and not in operation. The outdoor bars were also closed. A storm blew in and it was very windy and rainy for two of our four days there. There was absolutely nothing to do on the resort. We ended up going to the little store by the reception desk and buying six beer for nearly $50.00 usd and we sat in our room watching TV with really bad reception. To me, it is inexcusable to not have all the amenities up and running for guests who are paying big dollars to be there, regardless if it is the busy time of season or not. Everything about the resort is very much overpriced.
During our stay, we noticed many barges hauling sand to an area close by. Resort employees would not speak about what was happening, but local Bahamians were more that willing to tell us what was going on. Apparently the resort is hauling sand from other Bahamian islands to bury a Mangrove forest in order to build something there. The Mangroves are very important shark habitat. Sharks and Scuba diving are very important to the Island. Personally, I find this environmentally irresponsible, inexcusable and shameful. We may return to Bimini one day, but we will not spend our dollars here.

Great experience w/ hotel, staff, island locals, and all there is to do there. Highly recommend either getting a golf cart or being taxi'ed to beaches, food, etc. Didn't run into any of the issues so many people complained about in posts I read prior to coming to Bimini. Key recommendation is to relax and realize many things may take longer than in the US.
Please note:
1) the VAT (12%) and tip charges (18%) translates to 30% increase on all bills
2) do NOT take the Balarea (Catamaran travel to Bimini) unless you pack lots of patience. It is an utter disaster and many people I spoke with won't return because this experience soured their trip. Pay the extra $ for the plane flight

The Hilton provides great rooms with a beautiful view, if you are on the lagoon side. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is not included and costs $33 per person. The pools are great, the 5th floor has an adult only pool and the first floor has a swim up bar. However, the water is so cold you can not enjoy it. The property is nice, but not a lot to do. The beach pavilion was under construction, fisherman's village was completely empty.

The hotel offers a trolley service to guests.
No need to fly just take the Ferry
And there's crime any where you go, just don't be naive
It's just way way way overpriced
4 pina coladas 108.00
The beach club is the the resorts beach. They share it with Virgin. If you go on the resorts world website it will tell you the days that the beach is closed. I would recommend renting a golf cart as the tram can be crowded when the cruise ships are docked. Other than the beach being closed the cruise ship didn’t really affect us. Hope this helps
We needed a wristband to use the pool and beach club which we got because we were staying there. You can go into the casino and restaurants I'm sure without.
I suggest you connect directly with the hotel's concierge prior to your trip. They were very helpful making reservations for our fishing trip and answered all my questions.
