Nice reception (glass of wine), superb views and nice-looking room was a perfect start, but bed was very noisy and the breakfast so-so. However, given the cost it was quite alright. Basically no English spoken.
Clean and big (high ceiling) room with a fantastic view (we had the mountain view room). We loved it ! Very quiet too at the time of our visit. We would stay there again if we had the opportunity ! Be aware that the hotel is pretty much up hill, which was absolutely ok for us as we anyway spent those days hiking, but could be troublesome for some.
A very comfortable stay in a spacious, clean room with beautiful views of Mount Kazbegi. Some sweet Georgian wine was offered to welcome us. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much. Hosts were very helpful with use of Google Translate.
We spent one night at Gogi's and were so impressed with the service as well as location, and view. They have a small kitchen area on the second floor where one can make tea or coffee at any time. Our rooms were lovely and beds comfortable. We got up early to see the first morning's light on Kazbegi which was lovely.
If you visit Kazbegi, you should not miss this hotel. Trust me, it is truly a hidden gem here in this area. It is a bit hard to find, as we are driving and the GPS is not working well in Georgia...but we finally found it. And I think it is like 700m away from the city centre where they have a bus station. Now, the hotel is just opposite the church on the mountain...when we arrived, the owner was very proud to inform us that we have the best view of the church and the mountain. And it is really excellent. when we arrived we were served with a glass of welcoming wine. Wifi is good, breakfast is delicious, and room is clean. Even in summer months, it can be quite cold in this area, hence please be prepared with your jacket. Food in the city is great.
