Absolutely brilliant! Host & Hostess were wonderful, & hospitable. Was a little concerned that the evening meal was going to be whatever was being cooked (I don't like cheese), but it was impeccable to say the least. Breakfast was good also.

Again, the food is exqisite and plentiful, but you may tire of this after several days. As we stayed there for one night only on a driving tour through France I am not sure of the distance into Alencon, but again am sure the owners could advise.
If you have the opportunity, do spend at least one night at the Chateau, even if you decide to base yourselves elsewhere.
Have a great trip!
