Detailed Reviews
Cute little resort with a great pool!
Would recommend upgrading to the hut style suits rather than the ‘standard room’
Lots of noise from the restaurant upstairs in the standard room. Didn’t bother us as we woke to watch sunrise each day but could be frustrating if you enjoy sleeping in.
Wouldn’t recommend the breakfast/restaurant
The output wasn’t great. Breakfast could use better bread (maybe from one of the local bakeries in town?) along with a wider range of options??
Coffee also need to be sorted out!! Was in drinkable
We also hired a scooter that was shocking and in need for attention - we have to put air in the tyres in town!! (Unsafe maybe??)
HOWEVER these things are all so little and we had a great stay - staff are genuinely beautiful and this sealed it for us!
3/4 out of ten mostly due to the view and the staff

This hotel has a beautiful view. The rooms are clean. Unfortunately, the noise on the top floor can be heard in the room. Enjoy swimming all day with a stunning view. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

The photos say it all (see my pics)! This restaurant charge a lot more than most due to the beautiful decor and views. A real shame they don't serve better food. The menu looked delicious but what was served was another story.
We ordered the Mohini Snack Platter which is priced at 110,000rp (excluding tax + service). It is promoted as serving 3 people, yet it was too tiny for 1 person as a snack! Out came a few French fries, a few strings of dried deep fried calamari, 3 tiny deep fried pieces of chicken (mostly bones at that!) and some corn chips with onion sprinkled over it. They called this a combination of Nachos, Fries, Chicken Wings and Calamari. Absolutely NOT this at all! Nachos have tomato salsa and cheese at the minimum and usually guacamole and sour cream!
A gorgeous location with great potential - review your service and portions, improve the quality and up the game guys. Make it a good spot for tourists and you'll do well!

Stayed in the round suite. This is my 2nd visit to Komodo and what a huge difference this town has gone through. Mohini is a huge upgrade to the backpacker hostels I used to stay, and this little gem away from the town of Labuan Bajo is peaceful and has the amenities to have a quiet getaway.
My partner and I wasn't expecting much, but waking up to great views, good sleep and a hot shower. Lazing all day at the pool was the vacation we were looking for after visiting the Komodo Islands

No WiFi, no Genset back up, electricity went off and no water for the entire morning since 4am, so we had to check out and checked into Ayana.
The property is only 7 months old and there were a lot of things that didn’t work properly. Water did not drain in the shower and the sink had a hole versus a proper sink so you cannot shave as the sink did not have a proper plug.
We paid IDR1.250 but they should only charge IDR. 600,000.

Boutique hotel with magnificent views of the Bajo hills and the Indian Ocean, overlooking the Komodo Islands.
Very nice swimming pool, frangipani trees, prefer rooms in bungalows to simpler basic rooms. The decor. bungalows and the bungalows themselves are very beautiful.
Very calm.
Boutique hotel spirit where the staff is very kind and at the service of guests.
We were lucky to have the restaurant. privatized for our daughter's birthday. Good local cuisine and good breakfast

It was a bad experience and we were so disappointed. It s not even a proper hotel. Bad food, bad breakfast, bird in the bedroom, no internet.... strongly not recommended !! Go somewhere else if you value your holidays...

Well.. Not sure why there were some bad comments, maybe at that time.
However, based on my experience here: If you're looking for a calm and more traditional hotel, Mohini would be a good choice. Compared to La Prima and Loccal, their swimming pool is much better and cleaner. So you enjoy the swimming even better. The hotel has a sunset view, but same with Loccal, the sunset is blocked, not goes down to the sea. But still, you can enjoy it. The food here is great. The people are friendly. They also offers rental motorcycle for IDR90k/day (a day = 24 hr).
So, in my opinion, this hotel is recommended. Enjoy!

Little bit pesimistic about the hotel as I saw a lot bad reviews
And as hotelier, I am more concern about the experience rather than Instagrammable hotel.
However, I have totally different experience. My room was huge with nice shower.
I had lunch and breakfast in the hotel and they were tasty.
Overall I was satisfied, and will recommend this hotel
