Surpassing limits, taking in new horizons, savouring the feeling of boundless freedom: That’s never been easier than at Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus in Olang. The family-run hotel at the heart of the Dolomites has been pushing the boundaries for years – in terms of both hospitality and architecture. Since May 2022, Hubertus shines with a new architectural masterpiece, which – like its spectacular Sky Pool – floats between sky and earth: Heaven & Hell, the elegant platform that is turning wellness upside down – quite literally. An awe-inspiring view leads the gaze from high to low. Between the bright blue sky and the idyllic valley floats the extraordinary wellness area that overshadows everything that came before. The elegant huts, some of which are positioned upside down on the underside of the graceful platform, are reminiscent of the traditional mountain cabins that adorn the gentle high-Alpine meadows in this unique setting. This spectacular, free-floating steel platform with two floors is connected to the hotel’s new relaxation room via an elegant walkway and gives guests a new perspective of wellness. The visitor’s gaze drifts far out over valley and mountains until it reaches the world’s most stunning UNESCO heritage: the Dolomites. While the pleasantly warm water gently caresses the body in the lie-down or seated whirlpools on the upper level, one sinks into the beauty of nature and believes to have arrived in heaven. On the lower level, where the laws of gravity are seemingly suspended, wellness is turned upside down. In Hell, as the nude area is known, things really heat up. As well as two saunas and a nude whirlpool, guests can look forward to an ice room and a heavenly view of the mountains. Guests who wish to savour freedom and become one with nature have struck gold at Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus. Nestled amidst stunning nature, a vast array of options opens up at this unique hotel. As well as the new Heaven & Hell wellness platform, the 7,000m2 Alpenreych Park gives guests the choice of seven different saunas, six heated pools, several relaxation rooms, and numerous wellness and beauty treatments that use the power of nature. Nature also plays a leading role in the hotel’s cuisine. The internationally minded kitchen is a source of unique culinary creations that combine down-to-earth South Tyrolean tradition with the lightness of Mediterranean cuisine. The dishes are served in the new, modern restaurant with spectacular views of the mountains that beckon guests outside for new adventures every day. The varied activity programme tempts guests out into unspoilt nature in all seasons. Hiking, mountaineering, biking, forest bathing, yoga, fitness training, ski and tobogganing excursions, ski tours, snowshoeing, snow groomer and snowmobile rides, and much more is on offer at this hotel that’s so close to heaven.

Staying at the Alpenpanorama Hubertus Wellness Resort in South Tyrol was simply outstanding! From the first moment we felt welcome and well looked after.

The location of the resort is breathtaking – nestled in the beautiful mountain scenery, with panoramic views unparalleled. The entire hotel is tastefully decorated and exudes a warm, cosy atmosphere that harmonises perfectly with the surroundings.

A special highlight are the daily organized hiking tours, which are led by three experienced hiking experts. They offer an excellent opportunity to explore the impressive nature of the South Tyrolean Alps while relaxing physically and mentally. This exceptional performance of the hotel shows how much attention is paid to the needs of guests here.

The spa area is also a dream. The combination of modern furnishings and traditional elements creates an oasis of tranquillity. The infinity pool overlooking the Alps was particularly impressive – an unforgettable experience! The sauna area and the spa treatments offered also leave nothing to be desired.

The culinary offer was exceptional. Each dish was lovingly prepared, and the combination of local specialties and international cuisine inspired us. The breakfast buffet was rich, fresh and offered a wide range.

The service deserves special praise. The staff were always friendly, courteous and helpful – you can see that hospitality is very important here.

All in all, our stay at Hubertus Wellness Resort was an unforgettable experience. The perfect combination of nature, wellness and culinary delights makes this hotel a real gem. We are guaranteed to come back and can recommend this place to anyone looking for relaxation, recreation and adventure in a dreamlike environment.

Thanks to the whole team!

The Hubertus has so much more to offer than amazing views from the rooms and pools. The food is exceptional with fantastic choice on offer to drink from the bar and wine list. The activities hikes and wellness facilities available offer so much choice and cater for every guest. It’s the little touches and attention to detail everywhere in the hotel that make you leave feeling like you were their favourite guest as the caption reads in your room when you arrive. The staff are so knowledgeable helpful and welcoming especially the owners themselves who are always present. Almost don’t want to recommend and keep as a secret to ourselves as we will be going back.

I would like to point out that my review was the result of the Stay of one night only, so judging such an experience is always difficult.

The stay in principle I really liked, but there are some small shortcomings that it is right to remember, since the bill (paid previously) was almost €850.00.

Let's start with the positive side:
The spa is phenomenal, the suspended pool a gem that you can only find here, with the 36-degree water being a sight (other hotels in the region keep the much lower temperature in similar Sky-pools).
The brand new Hell and Heaven an unparalleled architectural work, a pearl.
I really enjoyed finding here, too, the hot tubs with really hot water, in a panoramic position over the valley.
Clean and tidy sauna area, also panoramic, beautiful.

Returning to the reception at the hotel is of a high level, the reception staff (one boy and two girls) very kind and professional.
The lady who accompanied us to the room, also very kind, unfortunately spoke little Italian, and communication (info Hotel and areas of interest) was difficult.
I appreciated the extreme kindness on his part, but in a 5-star Italian hotel, it is expected that the first language is spoken fluently so that communication is received and understood by the customer.

The room booked, as shown in the picture:
Very nice with hot tub and dedicated sauna.
We had a small problem with the tub in question just opened, without going further, I can say that alerted the reception the problem was immediately resolved. Good.

But the difference in a five-star hotel should be in the details, which unfortunately has been lacking :
-With the coffee machine there was no presence of coffee cups (we arranged to pour coffee into the glass glasses of water)
- On TV channel 5 (Italian) kept jumping making it impossible to
Vision
-The mini bar at night, to keep the temperature low, starts the engine that for those (like me) who have light sleep, disturbs sleep.
- Lack of a bedside table or shelf where to place personal items such as telephone on the left side of the double bed (it can be solved by placing the mobile phone on the headboard of the upper bed, although it is very uncomfortable to reach it when you are lying in bed).

Moving on to the dining room we attended the “Italian dinner” that I was not particularly excited about, and the a la Carte menu had little choice when compared to hotel restaurant of the same level in the region.
On our table (I do not think it was originally ours) was the placeholder with the surname of another family.
The first course was served to my partner (my niece) but not to me, arrived when she had already finished, about 10 minutes late because I reported it to the waitress.
Things that can happen, absolutely, but as always the details (especially in places like this) make the difference.

I am sure that if I had the opportunity to stay for more days, things would have been better.
I hope you can take my Rating as a starting point for possible improvement, and not as a criticism.
Because as I said at the beginning of the review, I felt good and if I get the chance I will definitely come back ☺️

From the moment we arrived at the hotel and the beginning of our stay, we felt comfortable, pleasant and I'm not afraid to write very luxurious. The hotel is very nice, spacious and even with high occupancy, during the Easter holidays, we did not feel that the hotel was overcrowded. We were greeted at the reception with a smile that did not disappear from the faces of the employees during our entire vacation. The first nice surprise was that they brought our luggage directly to the room, unloaded the skis and ski boots in the ski room, and parked the car. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished, with a small front garden and wonderful views of the surrounding hills. A welcome package with treats and a toy awaited our dog. The food was excellent, the dining table was met with a different surprise every day, we encountered 3/4 board for the first time, which meant that in addition to breakfast and dinner, we had an afternoon meal that fully replaced lunch, which also pleased us very much. Wellness was also an unforgettable experience, especially the sky pool. I also appreciate the ski bus that took us to the slopes and the laundry room for guests, where there was a washing machine, dryer and everything needed to wash any clothes, which we were happy to use. The environment is really very nice, the staff works at 100%, all our requests were met with a smile, the restaurant, dining room bar, the selection of food and drinks at a very high level. You can communicate with the staff in at least three languages. I really have no reservations about our stay, we left extremely satisfied and relaxed.

4 days / 3 nights in the panoramic room "Belvederes" in October 2024

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hubertus Alpin Panorama Hotel and can only recommend it. The facility is breathtaking, the cuisine at the highest level, and the spa area a true highlight.

Highlights of our stay:

Cuisine: The cuisine is really outstanding, from the 4-course dinner to the extensive breakfast buffet. The food is creative, in perfect portion sizes and beautifully arranged. Especially the changing hot dishes from the show kitchen and the excellent coffee at breakfast have inspired us.

Atmosphere: Dinner in the stylishly designed dining room with a fantastic view of the Alps was an experience. The cocktails at the bar were also excellent.

Afternoon snack: The afternoon snack (including desserts) was very good and extensive – a great extra.

Team: The whole team was very friendly and accommodating throughout.

Cleanliness: Everything was extremely clean and well maintained.

Spa area: The spa is gigantic, with plenty of different saunas and a stunning sky pool that makes you feel like swimming in the sky while overlooking the Alps. The new pools and saunas in the “Heaven & Hell” area also offer great views and pure relaxation.

Rooms: The panoramic rooms are very spacious, beautifully designed and clean. Also the lighting and the ambience in the room was thought about a lot, which enhances the atmosphere again.

Extras: A welcome drink, a lovingly decorated table as a surprise for your birthday, a prosecco on the house – the little touches have made your stay special.

Activities: The surrounding area offers numerous activities, especially hiking on surrounding lakes.

Small possibilities for improvement:

Vegetarian options: The choice for vegetarians and vegans could be a bit more extensive at dinner; however, the team has gone out of their way to adapt the dishes.

Paths within the hotel: You can tell that the hotel has been expanded several times. The routes to dining rooms and other areas are sometimes long and winding – but always well signposted and barrier-free.

Drink prices: Drinks are relatively expensive (especially still water), coffee is also charged in the afternoon.

Conclusion: Despite the small comments, the price for the offered level is absolutely justified. The Hubertus Alpin Panorama Hotel offers luxury and relaxation at a high level and is the perfect place for a break in the mountains.

It is one of the most beautiful hotels in the Dolomites, with one of the nicest collections of saunas and hot pools. It would be a solid 5 stars if not for the disappointing food. If you do not care much about food quality and want to ski and relax, you will not be disappointed, but we chose this hotel for the food and spa and left very disappointed after paying over 1000 euros a night. The NYE dinner was so disappointing that some Italian guests were furious. If you have a choice do not do the food plan and eat in town, also do not pay for the expensive rooms with private hot tubs - they are facing the pool so every gust in the pool is staring at you when you enter your hot tub.

Having returned from the Hubertus a few days ago... what can I say... it was an unforgettable holiday.
We stayed 6 nights and for the first time, apart from one afternoon, we decided to really experience the hotel, taking advantage of all the services.
Location is a 10, because it is located in the middle of Valdaora, in a strategic point, where you have spectacular views from all points.
Interesting buffet, although I would change the dessert options every now and then (I mean the part where there are brioches, sacs, plum cakes...).
The lunches were good (pasta, sandwiches, desserts..) as were the dinners, although I would consider some proposals.
The wellness area is the strong point in my opinion... Heaven & Hell, the suspended houses, are incredible stuff... in the positive sense obviously... I don't know how many hours I spent in there, forgetting that I had come on holiday with my partner(😅 ).
Various saunas and Turkish baths...not to mention the "suspended" swimming pool...several hours there too...how can I say...I couldn't do otherwise...I also tried the gym...small but well equipped...3 treatments at the spa with Tea, which I do my compliments...the wine tasting with Jacopo (maybe I would remove some wines and while we drink, the sommelier should drink with us and explain the wines in more detail).
We will definitely be back...maybe in the winter with the snow...

Some small constructive criticism:
-at least for lunch I would leave water available;
- I would not allow the cleaning staff to smoke even in their staff rooms, because several times there was a strong smell of smoke in the corridor;
- I would put a couple of jugs in the hell so as not to have to go out every time;
- I would put a person starting from 11am to change towels so as not to have to go to reception every time.

The property is beautiful overall located in a spectacular location.
The suspended swimming pool is the ace in the hole... it's a shame that during the design phase they didn't include any hydrojet spots for massages inside it.
Particular attention should be paid to those who bring their animal friends with them as an area has been provided where they can bring them under the umbrella. The staff is really kind, helpful and very attentive to making your stay an unforgettable experience.
Breakfast meets expectations while the lunch buffet leaves something to be desired as there is little choice, limited quantity and often repetitive dishes.
The deep disappointment was with the dinners as the menus used "poor" and non-local ingredients... I felt like I was in the south and not in Tyrol. What do squid have to do with it? Spaghetti with clams? Pacchieri to the norm?
Given a cost of 600 euros per day of stay, I expected some more refined dishes such as venison and/or roe deer.
I understand that they want to get the
maximum return with minimum expense....but it's not like they charge little for the stay. I repeat, 600 euros per day for a couple can fit... but I expect excellent and not mediocre food.
Will I come back? I'm honest, no! But this too was an experience.

I think I’m not exaggerating by saying that it is the hotel in South Tyrol with the most suggestive location ever.
What comes before you when you are in the Skypool or the famous Heaven&Hell is something that can hardly be described in words.
The hotel is a 5 star hotel in all, I found the breakfast and brunch buffets very rich and quality, the dinners fantastic (especially the Tyrolean theme evening).
There are many organized activities (both included in the price and for a fee) to fill the days of those who do not want to spend all the time between pools and spa.
Note: Upon arrival you will be given the South Tyrol Guest Pass, with which you can use public transport throughout South Tyrol without limits and access more than 80 museums.
Finally the staff all very kind and always with a smile, not so obvious to find.
Definitely a holiday that will remain in the heart

Excellent facility, excellent wellness services, qualified and friendly staff, high-class cuisine and fresh produce of excellent quality.
This is our second year and we hope to return next year!
I would only add covers between the pools and hydro-massages outside the changing rooms to avoid temperature changes when leaving the heated pools!
