We had a private entrance, with our own bathroom, and a window overlooking the lake. The room and bathroom were very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to spend another weekend at Blue Horizon. Gorgeous property on the lake.

We came over from Kingston for one night on Wolfe island before taking the little ferry back to NY. The B&B was in the owners home but each room had an outside entrance. Location was on a farm with a few lamas for us to look at and photograph. We spent our day having lunch in town, exploring the island,...

We are happy that you were able to take advantage of returning home by way of privately operated ferry from Wolfe Island, Ontario to Cape Vincent, New York. It is good to know that the cooling effect from the lake along with an open window and fan was adequate to substitute for air conditioning on a warm summer night.

My boyfriend and I stayed here July 8-10 2016. It was wonderful! I wish we could have stayed a bit longer. Margaret and Grant were excellent, friendly hosts. The food (we had a takeaway breakfast/lunch Saturday and a sit down breakfast Sunday) was tasty and filling and high quality. I really liked the seed bar Margaret put in our takeaway...

Margaret and Grant are excellent hosts. Every details is taken care of. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The house has a prime location at the water's edge, and is just a 10 min drive to the US border (Cape Vincent) for those who would like to go across. Highly recommended.

We are delighted that you found our accommodation clean and comfortable. We are also glad you discovered how close we are to the privately-run ferry running from Wolfe Island, Ontario to Cape Vincent, New York. We look forward to seeing you again.

I hesitate to write this. For purely selfish reasons, I was considering not revealing my true thoughts about the Blue Horizon and its proprietors. What a wonderful B&B. We only stayed for one night in the Plaid Room, but that was more than enough time for my wife, my two young daughters and myself to fall in love with this...

Margaret & Grant Pyke are excellent hosts and warm conversationalists. Stayed in the ensuite bedroom. It was clean and comfortable. Great view of majestic Lake Ontario. Woke up in the morning to see an Otter swimming in the lake hunting for fish. While having breakfast watched the ships sailing by. home is very tastefully furnished with antiques. Quiet location in...

The Blue Horizon is a great spot for a relaxing stay on Wolfe Island. The house is so close to the water that you can hear the waves crashing if you leave your window open. The grounds are lovely and the flower beds are a sight to see. It is also fun to watch the animals on the adjacent farm....

The Blue Horizon is a wonderful place for a relaxing stay on Wolfe Island. Margaret and Grant, the owners, were very pleasant and friendly and always willing to help us out. We didn't spend much time there as we were attending a family reunion. We did enjoy sitting on the lawn and looking out at the lake. The rooms were...

Blue Horizon was recommended to us by my wife's family, who live on Wolfe Island and know Margaret and Grant, the owners. They couldn't have recommended a better place. The house is located on a working farm (complete with buffalo and llamas), and has the biggest barn I've ever seen. But the farmhouse itself is the really spectacular part. Old...

Had a great time in Kingston last weekend! Want a getaway as a couple or a family, Blue Horizon B&B on Wolfe Island. Amazing! Lovely, kind, knowledgable hosts. Wind, water, waves, lakers, stars, baby buffalo, llamas, ferry to come home to every night, awesome breakfast every morning. You couldn't want for anything, Margaret and Grant have thought of everything and...

“We were in the two rooms that have the patios and stairs with separate entrances. They each have a bathroom. The third room we had was as large as the others but shared a bathroom.”

“In the Plaid Room, the wind blows the curtains open in the two windows so that you merely need to lift your head off your pillow to look out the window and all you see is water and sky. All you hear at night is the sound of the waves lapping the shoreline. We live downtown and this was the best sleep I've had in weeks. Thank you Margaret and Grant for everything.”
