Our family had the best time at the Cloverleaf Cottage, Oxtongue Lake, Dwight, Ontario, Canada. The whole cottage environment is so pleasant and family oriented with a nice playground for kids and for adults with life-size chess set and ping pong table etc etc. It is beautifully landscaped with wonderful big rocks lining the beach area. It has several gazebos and 2 extended out to the lake. The 3 bedroom cottage we rented was immaculate with white bed sheet and white pillow cases. Each cottage is equipped with a fire pit and of course BBQ equipment. The beach is clean and well maintained with kayaks, paddle boats and canoes free for guests to use. Last but not least, the host Shelley is fantastic, absolutely a lovely lady and very helpful. Highly recommend it. Widdy

I have stayed at a few different cottage resorts on Oxtongue Lake, and this is the best! It is well away from the main road, so no highway noise, and it is right on the lake - you don't have to cross Oxtongue Lake Road to access the water. Also, the very lovely children's playground is behind the cabins, not on the waterfront, giving an unobstructed view of the water from the front line of cabins. The cabins are beautifully decorated, very well equipped (no thrift shop mismatched stuff here), and spotlessly clean. Landscaping is gorgeous and there is a little shop in the office for necessities like ice cream and coffee :)

Owners are very nice and friendly, and the check-in and check-out are super easy and efficient. This place is a gem! I've booked a longer stay for next year, there is so much to do in the area.

Amazing stay! The cottage is extremely well equipped ,there is everything you need. It’s also trendy and nicely furnished, comfy bed, had a great sleep! The view is awesome, you are right by the water. They provide kayaks, canoes for free and you can explore the lake. Lots of space in front of the cottage to sit by the fire, have BBQ.

Would love to go back!!

Due to Covid19 this year my hubby and I were unable to go to Europe as planned for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. In fact it only opened up for us to be able able to even come to the Cloverleaf cottages days before our anniversary celebration. It's about a 3 hour drive from our home and is a spectacular place. The owner Shelley is so kind and easy to get along with. Very accommodating and just wanted to make us happy.
We ended up renting out the end cottage on the waterfront nearest the docks. It was decorated so nicely. Very modern and clean. The cottage has everything that one needs for a vacation. No Air conditioning but there are fans and windows so it stayed pretty cool inside, and we were here on a very hot week.
The lake is not huge but large enough to enjoy with a motor boat. They also have all sorts of water sports toys to enjoy, such as paddle boats and row boats, canoes, and Kayaks.
Fishing is good. Lots of Pike and Bass.
I would definitely recommend this place for a vacation. We will certainly come back again.

Our extended family of 12, (from 1 to 69 years) spent 3 nights in 4 waterfront cottages at Cloverleaf. The cottages were clean, the service excellent, and the beach and lake was lovely. The boats, water slide, deck chairs, screened gazebo, and the great weather allowed us to hang out together in numerous ways. I really do hope to stay there again one day.

It was a very great stay here at cloverleaf. We would come back here again. The cabins were very well maintained. The beds and bedroom was really neat. It has a really scenic view for the waterfront cabins. The barbaque works really well and heats up fast. The wifi was slightly slow during our stay but other than that it was really great.

I loved it the first time and this latest visit was even better because of the gardens. Shelly has done an outstanding job with the landscaping and gardens. We had perfect weather so the beachy waterfront was well loved. Yes, the cottages are immaculate and beautifully renovated. I will come back again!

My husband and I brought a couple from the UK here and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The weather was on the cool side being mid-June, but we still enjoyed the beach, canoeing and the children's playground. The cottage is very well maintained, clean and fully equipped. It was our first time renting a cottage and we found it very relaxing and peaceful - it was still low season so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. It was great to be so close to Algonquin Park - I recommend checking out the Ragged Falls Provincial Park nearby. We hope to be back here one day!

This is an amazing place, a place that I can bring family and truly relax. I have been all over Ontario, and this is by far my favouite. Amazing staff that keep to themselves, yet are there in a second if you need anything! We were there during a fireban and the owners bought us a propane firepit so we could still enjoy a evening campfire. Ton and tons of water activities, boats, etc for the young and young at heat. Cottages had all the amenities, with a warm muskoka feel to them. Very large flat grass area the leads to beach - perfect for children! I would recommend this place to all my family and trip advisor friends!

They have canoes free for guests, but only for use on Oxtongue Lake, which is not in Algonquin Park. They can not be taken to a different location.
