Fabulous view of a stunning beach, amazing wildlife- penguins and dolphins- a really special place to stay. The only downside might be the slight noise and smell from the blue penguin nest under the porch. I would like to live in this place permanently Also, very helpful having access to a washing machine and tumble drier

The area of Curio Bay is a very special place and these are wonderful accommodations. The beach studio is very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated with a large deck & great views esp with the early morning light. Be sure and watch the Yellow-Eyed Penguins come in at dusk at the nearby Petrified Forest (always amazing to see)....

Lovely spacious Beach studio in Curio Bay. Good bed, good bathroom and dolphins swimming right in front of the house. Be aware that there is hardly any foodsupply in Curio Bay. Do your shopping well before you go to this remote area.

If you love the se ( as we do ) ,this is the place for you.Stunning view of the bay ( the Porpoise Bay,Curio Bay is a short walk away ) You can spend hours ( we did ) just gazing out at the ever changing scene in front of you. There's a massive comfy bed and cosy sofa with...

The room & location are of a very high standard. It is a pity that the owners seem unable to communicate effectively. 1. Wrong telephone number on email confirmation. 2. Checking out requires guests to visit the owners house 100m down the road between 9 and 10:30 on the departure day. As we needed to leave before 9 to catch...

We spent two nights here and loved the place. Very roomy with beautiful views of Porpoise Bay. We were woken up both nights by the penguins! There are blue penguins that come in from the sea after dark (around 10:30 PM when we were there) and head back out to sea before light (around 4:00 AM). These penguins make a...

Set on the foreshore of stunning Curio Bay where penguins frequent at night this studio boutique apartment is expensive for it's facilities. We paid $220 a night for a large room with no television and no wi-fi, which we knew were not available when booking. The owners are very much hands-off as their main industry is farming. For the price,...

Beautiful location and lovely accommodation.Very well designed to fit perfectly with area. Everything you need to relax and cut yourself off from the outside world. Wildlife haven , penguins, seals and dolphins all can be watched from window although binoculars will give you better chance. If you do not want close encounters of penguins at 5am this is not for you...

We enjoyed our stay at the Curio Bay Accommodation. A very nice Kingsize bed, a spacious room with a wonderful view from the terrace - and at night we heard the penguins coming to their nest. We could not see them, cause it was very dark outside and we did not want to disturb them. But just to hear them...

Stayed in three bedroom cottage. Rustic and comfortable. Wood fire and electronic heating. A bit worn around the edges - broken deck planks. Great wildlife. Good value. Toys, games and books available. Full function all kitchen. Buy supplies before you arrive.
