Having decided quite late in the week that my other half and I needed a getaway, I was pleasantly surprised that we got a room at Caversham Mill. Whilst we have had delicious meals at the restaurant, we have never stayed. I booked us into one of the rooms in the Manor House. Fortunately for us there were no other...

We had a wonderful dinner at Caversham Mill, and would recommend it. We had a view of the waterfall and though it was rainy, we still loved it. The restaurant is child friendly, and we had good service.

Caversham Mill is one of those places where hubby and I can go to and let a flood of great memories come rushing over us. We started dating at the Mill, got engaged there, and recently spent our first anniversary there. Well done on the reno, it looks great! The entire experience at the Mill is just sublime. Professional and...

What a lovely surprise, went to a wedding in the Natal Midlands and needed a overnight stay. The place is beautiful, quiet and clean. We stayed with friends in the Manor House. It had everything we needed. Luanda is very friendly and professional. They were accommodating and allowed us to book in earlier in the day to change. I would...

We stayed at Caversham Mill in October 2015. Whilst the accommodation was satisfactory, I would like to urge would-be patrons to ensure that your insurance is up to date before visiting this establishment. Our car was damaged whilst parked within the confines of the property which is specifically allocated for guests. This was as a result of an umbrella belonging...

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Caversham. What a beautiful little corner of the world, and the nicest people you can imagine. The self catering cottages give you everything you need to feel at home away from home. A real treasure of a place, with a view that settles your mind and soul.

We went to the Paul Hanmer/McCoy Mrubata performance at Caversham Mill. The brilliant music, intimate setting, superb food and wonderful accommodation made for a memorable night. Bravo to all at Caversham for a great concept: it's our own Blue Note with a Midlands flavour. We'll certainly be back.

I spent the first night at Caversham Mill and immediately decided to stay a second. The self catering cottage had everything I needed, including DSTV, comfortable beds, cooking equipment, a whole lot of silence, a forest path to a river where we could go tubing in fresh clean water, and honestly, the friendliest, warmest owners you ask for. The Caversham...

Warm after hours welcome. Comfortable, cosy and well equipped cottage with wonderful garden access. Exceptionally well situated for visiting the midlands. The restaurant was closed due to circumstances beyond their control, but I know, from numerous previous visits, that it's one of the best in the area.

“I cant really recommend our rooms as the top window was a pain and in fact any of the Manor rooms would be noisy due to their wooden floors and it being quite open plan - perhaps try a different part of the Hotel ?”

“I think it´s better to stay in the Manor House. If you want a self catering place, ask for cottage # 1 (or maybe #2 as well). #3 (Mill Cottage) is odd.”
