It was so relaxing and beautiful that we booked 2 extra nights on the day we arrived instead of going to El nido (to where they offer transport with a boat). An amazing beach with a coral reef 10m after stepping into the water. It's an idyllic getaway.

This was definitely one of the highlights of our tour in the Philippines. The island is 40 minutes away by boat from Port Barton. This is the only resort on the island which makes it super isolated and quiet. The perfect place for relaxing. Restaurant is more than decent and rooms are correct.

We just returned home to Puerto Princesa from our weekend getaway at the Coconut Garden Island Resort. I already miss the cool sea breeze and inviting beach views. It's a quiet resort on Cacnipa Island, about 45 mins boat ride from Port Barton proper. We stayed in one of the newer deluxe cottages with a gorgeous view of the sun...

Total relax... no phone, limited net, beach, beautiful garden, fish in the water, nice sea trips for good snorkeling places. We saw sea turtles babies on their first crawl towards the sea. Bring flashlight... generator only run 11-13 + 18-22 ;-)

This hotel is a jewel! Quiet, peaceful, very clean and the beach is top notch! There are two rowing boats for free to explore the archipel a little. Good snorkeling spot right infront. Not the best corals but a lot of fish, we even saw a turtle and heard some dolphins that are common in the waters there. The rooms...

We only spent two nights here and I wish I had booked longer. It has a beautiful beach with crystal clear water. At night, it gets so dark that if you are lucky enough to be there when there is no moon, you can see the milky way. In the morning you can watch the sunrise. The rooms are simple...

We actually aimed for Port Barton, but ended up on Cacnipa Island instead - and we didn't regret it for a second! In fact, the original 2 nights ended up being 3 nights, and we truly needed the island getaway from "the real world". The bungalows are basic but cute and just what you need. The garden is nice, though...

The beach was very pristine, the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staffs were all outstanding in every respect! I love filipino food which I never got to enjoy when I was there but that's fine since the place and the people there compensated for anything that was lacking about our vacation. We will certainly be back!
